SpinX, an AI-guided spindle tracking software, allows the 3-dimensional (3D) tracking of metaphase spindle movements in mammalian cells. Using over 900 images of dividing cells, we create the Multi-SpinX framework to significantly expand SpinX's applications: a) to track spindles and cell cortex in multicellular environments, b) to combine two object tracking (spindle with kinetochores marked by centromeric probes) and c) to extend spindle tracking beyond metaphase to prometaphase and anaphase stages where spindle morphology is different. We have used a human-in-the-loop approach to assess our optimisation steps, to manually identify challenges and to build a robust computational pipeline for segmenting kinetochore pairs and spindles.

Choanoflagellate species have been taxonomically divided upon the morphological and developmental basis of their extracellular coat (periplast). Species within the order Craspedida possess a purely organic periplast, whereas taxa of the order Acanthoecida have an additional silica based periplast termed the lorica. Materials And Methods: VIEWER is an open-source and extensible toolkit that employs natural language processing and interactive visualization techniques to facilitate the rapid design, development, and deployment of clinical information retrieval, analysis, and visualization at the point of care. Through an iterative and collaborative participatory design approach, VIEWER was designed and implemented in one of the United Kingdom's largest National Health Services mental health Trusts, where its clinical utility and effectiveness were assessed using both quantitative and qualitative methods.

Importance: The effect of adjuvant chemotherapy following resection of pancreatic adenocarcinoma after preoperative (m)FOLFIRINOX (combination leucovorin calcium [folinic acid], fluorouracil, irinotecan hydrochloride, and oxaliplatin in full or modified dosing) chemotherapy on overall survival (OS) is unclear because current studies do not account for the number of cycles of preoperative chemotherapy and adjuvant chemotherapy regimen.

Chiral magnetic textures give rise to unconventional magnetotransport phenomena such as the topological Hall effect and nonreciprocal electronic transport. While the correspondence between topology or symmetry of chiral magnetic structures and such transport phenomena has been well established, a microscopic understanding based on the spin-dependent band structure in momentum space remains elusive. Here, we demonstrate how a chiral magnetic superstructure introduces an asymmetry in the electronic band structure and triggers a nonreciprocal electronic transport in a centrosymmetric helimagnet α-EuP.
