The selection of subsequent treatments after CDKi treatment is still controversial, and the efficacy of everolimus (EVE) combinations is unknown.

Can Supine Breast Magnetic Resonance Imaging After a Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced Breast Magnetic Resonance Imaging Provide Information for Supine Procedures?

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 75 lesions in 50 patients with pathologically proven breast cancer who underwent MRI in prone and supine positions between December 2019 and December 2020. The transverse, anteroposterior, and craniocaudal dimensions (in millimeters) of the tumor in the x -, y -, and z -axes were measured. Distances from the center of the tumor to the chest wall and the adjacent skin were measured on transverse and reformatted sagittal images.

Evaluating YouTube as a Source of Patient Information for Blefaroplasty.

This study aims to evaluate the content and quality of popular videos about blepharoplasty treatment in YouTube. Four keywords "blepharoplasty," "upper blepharoplasty," "lower blepharoplasty," and "blepharoplasty information" were searched in YouTube. After the videos were sorted by the number of views, the last 50 videos were based on general characteristics, primary purpose, information content, relevance, audiovisual quality, as well as viewer interaction index DISCERN score (minimum-maximum: 16-75), (JAMA) score (minimum-maximum: 0-4), and Global Quality score (minimum-maximum: 0-5), and view rate formulas were calculated for each video.

Introduction: The objectives of this study were to evaluate the efficiency of CO-RADS scoring system in our patients with COVID-19 as well as to examine its correlation with clinical and laboratory findings.

Methods: The CO-RADS category of all patients included in the study was determined by a radiologist who did not know the rtRT-PCR test result of the patients, according to the Covid-19 reporting and data system of Mathias Prokop et al.

Impact of Allergic Rhinitis on Voice in Children.

Introduction: The purpose of the present study was to determine the possible effect of allergic rhinitis (AR) on voice change in children with acoustic analysis and Turkish children's voice handicap index-10 (TR-CVHI-10).

Methods: This is a case-control study. Forty-one children with AR, and a positive skin prick test, as well as 39 children of controls who had produced a negative skin prick test and lacked a history of allergic disease, were selected for the study.

Background: Urinary system resections and reconstructions are needed in peritoneal carcinomatosis due to abdominal malignancies. The effect of hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy on these urological procedures after reconstruction remains uncertain. Neurosurgical Practice During Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), is a highly contagious life-threatening condition with unprecedented impacts for worldwide societies and health care systems. Since the first detection in China, it has spread rapidly worldwide. The increased burden has substantially affected neurosurgical practice and intensive modifications have been required in surgical scheduling, inpatient and outpatient clinics, management of emergency cases, and even in academic activities.

Congenital midnasal stenosis: Conservative management.

Introduction: Congenital midnasal stenosis (MNS) is an extremely rare disease which may be life threatening, and shows difficulty in diagnosis and management. This case series summarizes superiority of using intranasal mometasone furoate spray (IMS) and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) to treat nasal obstruction in neonates with MNS.

Methods: This study reviewed six consecutive cases of MNS.

Purpose: To evaluate the effect of garlic on formation of postoperative adhesions in rats.

Methods: Twenty-four Sprague dawley rats were divided into three groups. In Group 1 (sham), laparotomy was performed and stitched up.

We have some criticism regarding some technical issues. Mixed models have begun to play a pivotal role in statistical analyses and offer many advantages over more conventional analyses regarding repeated variance analyses. First, they allow to avoid conducting multiple -tests; second, they can accommodate for within-patient correlation; third, they allow to incorporate not only a random coefficient, but also a random slope, typically 'linear' time in longitudinal case series when there are enough data and patients' trajectories vary a lot and improving model fit.

The Postdural Puncture Headache and Back Pain: The Comparison of 26-gauge Atraucan and 26-gauge Quincke Spinal Needles in Obstetric Patients.

Background: The postdural puncture headache (PDPH) and postdural puncture backache (PDPB) are well-known complications of spinal anesthesia. There are some attempts to reduce the frequency of complication such as different design of the spinal needles.

Aims: The primary outcome of this study is to compare the incidence of PDPH between 26-gauge Atraucan and 26-gauge Quincke spinal needles in elective cesarean operations.

Early postoperative recovery after intracranial surgical procedures. Comparison of the effects of sevoflurane and desflurane.

Purpose:: To compared the effects of sevoflurane and desflurane on early anesthesia recovery in patients undergoing to craniotomy for intracranial lesions.

Methods:: After IRB approval, the study included 50 patients aged 18-70 years who had ASA physical statuses of I-II and were scheduled for intracranial surgery. Patients were randomly divided into two groups: sevoflurane and desflurane.

Closure of round cutaneous defects progressively with the purse string suture technique.

Introduction: There are many closure techniques available to cutaneous surgeons. One of them is the purse-string suture which is used to provide complete or partial closure of round skin defects. In our animal study; we closed skin defects with using subcuticular purse string suture technique by progressively cinching wound and we aim to more rapidly healing according to secondary healing.

Relation of mean platelet volume with obstructive adenoid hypertrophy in children.

Objective: Adenoid hypertrophy (AH) is a common etiology of chronic upper airway obstruction. Upper respiratory tract obstruction may cause chronic alveolar hypoventilation and pulmonary vasoconstriction. In one previous study in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), it has been claimed that mean platelet volume (MPV), an indicator of platelet activation is increased and that MPV has an important role in the pathophysiology of cardiovascular diseases.

Treatment of isolated diaphyseal fractures of the radius with an intramedullary nail in adults.

Background: The goal of the radius diaphysis fractures in surgical treatment is restoration of bone length, rotation correction and to secure fixation that allows early mobilization. The purpose of this study is evaluating the results of intramedullary (IM) radius nail for the treatment of isolated adult diaphyseal fractures of the radius.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively reviewed adults with isolated fractures of the radius, who were treated with closed or mini open reduction with a IM radius nail between May 2008 and November 2011 and who were followed for a least 1 year.

New interlocking intramedullary radius and ulna nails for treating forearm diaphyseal fractures in adults: a retrospective study.

Introduction: The treatment goal for diaphyseal forearm fractures in adults is to restore axial and rotational stability. The treatment of these fractures with intrmaedullary locked nailing remains sparse. We therefore evaluated IM nails for treating forearm diaphyseal fractures in adults.

Vitiligo in a Patient Treated with Interferon Alpha-2a for Behçet's Disease.

Behçet's disease (BD) and vitiligo are diseases of unknown etiology. Interferon (IFN) alpha therapy is commonly used in Behçet uveitis. Interferon treatment in various diseases have also been observed causing certain autoimmune diseases such as vitiligo because of its immunomodulatory activity.

Myxoid/round cell liposarcoma of the supraclavicular fossa.

Metastases from the tracheobronchial tree and the genitourinary and gastrointestinal systems are the most common malignant lesions of the supraclavicular fossa. Liposarcomas in this region, as primary tumors, are rarely encountered. In this article, we report a case of myxoid liposarcoma of the supraclavicular fossa with a fulminant course.
