Alzheimer's disease (AD) is an irreversible brain disorder that led to memory loss and disrupts daily life. Earlier strategies to treat AD such as acetylcholinesterase inhibitor (AChEI) drugs are not showing effectiveness due to the inability to cross the blood-brain barrier. Moreover, traditional AChEI provides limited efficacy in terms of bioavailability and solubility for treating AD treatment.

The aim of this study was to develop paroxetine (PXT) loaded nanotransferosomal gel (PXT-NTFG) for intranasal brain delivery. The process involved fabricating PXT-NTFs (paroxetine-loaded nanotransferosomes) through a thin film hydration method and optimizing them based on parameters such as particle size (PS), zeta potential (ZP), polydispersity index (PDI), and entrapment efficiency (EE). The optimized PXT-NTFs exhibited uniform morphology with a PS of 158.

Methods: MCCR was adapted from the American Society of Clinical Oncology COVID-19 Registry to collect data specifically from patients with cancer and SARS-CoV-2 infection from 12 centers in eight countries including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, Algeria, United Arab Emirates, and Morocco.

This study aimed to assess the efficacy of human amniotic membranes (HAM) in treating venous and diabetic ulcers, which often pose challenges in healing. A systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted, evaluating 10 relevant studies involving 633 participants. Findings revealed that HAM treatment significantly accelerated ulcer closure, demonstrating over 90% complete healing compared to standard care.

Introduction: Postictal thoracocervicofacial purpura (PTP) is a rare clinical sign after a seizure episode and may be the only objective sign seen in patients who are unaware of their own seizure disorder. Moreover, it can be the only reason a patient seeks medical care after a seizure activity.
Case Presentation: Herein, we report a 23-year-old, living alone and not known to have any medical illnesses, who presented to our emergency department complaining of asymptomatic purpuric facial rash extending to his neck and upper chest that started suddenly when he woke up that morning.
