Introduction: Osteoporosis (OP) is one of the most common comorbidities associated with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Literatures reported that the risk for developing OP was strongly associated with duration and severity of RA. We aim to elaborate on the consequences of OP on disease activity and management plan in patients with RA.

Synthesis of antimicrobial azoloazines and molecular docking for inhibiting COVID-19.

Diverse new azoloazines were synthesized from the reaction of fluorinated hydrazonoyl chlorides with heterocyclic thiones, 1,8-diaminonaphthalene, ketene aminal derivatives, and 4-amino-5-triflouromethyl-1,2,4-triazole-2-thiol. The mechanistic pathways and the structures of all synthesized derivatives were discussed and assured based on the available spectral data. The synthesized azoloazine derivatives were evaluated for their antifungal and antibacterial activities through zone of inhibition measurement.

Prenatal-onset -related skeletal dysplasia in two unrelated families: Diagnosis and prediction of lethality.

This report describes two patients with INPPL1- related skeletal dysplasia diagnosed prenatally. A literature review is conducted to find out if high-lethality is associated with particular pathogenic variants in INPPL1 gene. Prediction of lethality in the prenatal setting has an impact on perinatal management.

Depression, anxiety and stress among medical and non-medical students in Saudi Arabia: An epidemiological comparative cross-sectional study.

Objectives: To quantify the extent and variation of depression, anxiety and stress among medical and non-medical Saudi Arabian students.

Use of point-of-care ultrasound to diagnose an alternate cause of flank pain in a patient with presumed renal colic.

This is a case of a 34-year-old male patient who presented to the emergency department (ED) with severe left flank pain. Due to the patient's cardiac history, elevated troponin, lactic acidosis, and lack of renal calculi on a noncontrast CT, focused cardiac ultrasound was performed, which showed left ventricle thrombus. Comparison of jeopardy game format versus traditional lecture format as a teaching methodology in medical education.
