Therefore, we compared the predictive value of invasively measured central BP with non-invasively measured brachial BP and analyzed pulse pressure (PP) amplification (delta-PP; difference between central and peripheral PP) as an independent predictor of mortality.

Introduction: The epidemic of tobacco use poses one of the most severe public health challenges globally, responsible for over 8 million deaths annually according to the World Health Organization (WHO). This study investigates the factors associated with tobacco use among Saudi Arabian youth using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework.

Methods: A cross-sectional study used the 2022 Global Youth Tobacco Survey (GYTS) to assess tobacco use among 5610 Saudi students aged 13-15 years.

Combined and isolated effects of workstation ergonomics and physiotherapy in improving cervicogenic headache and work ability in office workers: a single-blinded, randomized controlled study.

Objective: The objective of the study is to compare and investigate the combined and individual effects of workstation ergonomics, physiotherapy and patient education in improving CgH headaches and work ability in office workers.

Methods: 96 eligible CgH participants were divided into the ergonomics modifications group (EMG;  = 24), physiotherapy group (PTG;  = 24), and ergonomics modifications combined with physiotherapy group (EPG;  = 24) and education control group (CNG;  = 24), the participants received the respective treatment for 4 weeks. Primary (CgH frequency) and secondary (CgH pain intensity, CgH disability, flexion rotation test (right and left), neck disability index and work ability) scores were measured.

In this study, shear-critical reinforced concrete (RC) beams were strengthened by combining the prestressing and near-surface mounted (NSM) rods approaches. The potential danger of failure in such RC beams is a substantial concern as it is considered a potential threat. This study addresses its careful mitigation through experimental identification and numerical analysis to enhance the safety and sustainability of buildings by reducing the probability of failure risk for these RC beams.

The aim of this study was to characterize the composition of the ethanolic, water, and hydroethanolic extracts from the aerial parts of by HPLC-ESI-QTOF-MS/MS to isolate the major compound isoquercitrin by HSCCC (High-Speed Counter-Current Chromatography) and to determine the cytotoxicity and anti-inflammatory potential of the extracts produced with this plant. Fingerprinting of the analyzed extracts showed the presence of a multitude of metabolites comprising polyphenols, organic acids, and coumarins, and only trace quantities of cardiac glycosides in the analyzed samples.

Background: In recent studies addressing colorectal liver metastases and HCC, R1 vascular surgery has demonstrated safety and oncological adequacy. In this manuscript, aims to examine the uniqueness and existence of impulsive non-local conditions, as well as classical and mild solutions to the fractional Cauchy problem in time scales. The main results are derived by the Gronwall inequality and the Banach fixed point theorem in time scales. Eventually, we offered an example to demonstrate the suitability of the conclusions on the fractional Cauchy issue on a time scale.
