Complex biological systems have evolved to control movement dynamics despite noisy and unpredictable inputs and processing delays that necessitate forward predictions. The staple example in vertebrates is the locomotor control emerging from interactions between multiple systems-from passive dynamics of inverted pendulum governing body motion to coupled neural oscillators that integrate predictive forward and sensory feedback signals. These neural dynamic computations are expressed in the rhythmogenic spinal network known as the central pattern generator (CPG).

Introduction: The full-scale Russian war has caused refugees to experience many stressful events, which may have a long-term adverse impact on their physical and mental health. Understanding the factors associated with increasing/decreasing stress is essential for the psychosocial support services for refugees. The Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) is a popular tool for assessing life stress perception through self-reporting.

Armed conflict has negative mental health impacts on internally displaced people and refugees, however, much less is known of its effects on the mental health of displaced people and refugees with disabilities. We use pan-European data (N = 9,676), collected via an internet health needs survey across April-July 2022, to examine the mental health impacts of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine on the mental health of displaced people with disabilities during the first months of the war. Regression models separately examined associations between functional impairment (vision, walking, existing mental health condition), access to healthcare, welfare payments, and anxiety and sleep quality, controlling for sociodemographic variables.

The precise prediction of major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-peptide complex structures is pivotal for understanding cellular immune responses and advancing vaccine design. In this study, we enhanced AlphaFold's capabilities by fine-tuning it with a specialized dataset consisting of exclusively high-resolution class I MHC-peptide crystal structures. This tailored approach aimed to address the generalist nature of AlphaFold's original training, which, while broad-ranging, lacked the granularity necessary for the high-precision demands of class I MHC-peptide interaction prediction.

Dexterous postural control subtly complements movement variability with sensory correlations at many scales. The expressive poise of gymnasts exemplifies this lyrical punctuation of release with constraint, from coarse grain to fine scales. Dexterous postural control upon a 2D support surface might collapse the variation of center of pressure (CoP) to a relatively 1D orientation-a direction often oriented towards the focal point of a visual task.

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic had a meaningful impact on several areas of human activity. With respect to psychological assessment, the requirements to study the fear of vaccination as a means to diminish negative behaviour towards vaccination had been reported. This study aimed to evaluate the factorial invariance of the six-item Vaccination Fear Scale (VFS-6) across individuals and cultures.

A rich and complex temporal structure of variability in postural sway characterizes healthy and adaptable postural control. However, neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson's disease, which often manifest as tremors, rigidity, and bradykinesia, disrupt this healthy variability. This study examined postural sway in young and older adults, including individuals with Parkinson's disease, under different upright standing conditions to investigate the potential connection between the temporal structure of variability in postural sway and Parkinsonism.

Background: Mental health-related stigma occurs among the public and professionals alike. The lived experience of mental illness has been linked to less stigmatising attitudes. However, data on psychiatrists and the relationship between stigmatising attitudes and psychotherapeutic activity or case discussion groups remains scarce.

Simulating human body dynamics requires detailed and accurate mathematical models. When solved inversely, these models provide a comprehensive description of force generation that considers subject morphology and can be applied to control real-time assistive technology, for example, orthosis or muscle/nerve stimulation. Yet, model complexity hinders the speed of its computations and may require approximations as a mitigation strategy.

Aims: To measure the stigma of healthcare providers toward people suffering from mental illness, the Opening Minds Stigma Scale for Health Care Providers (OMS-HC) is a commonly applied instrument. However, this scale has not been thoroughly validated in many European countries, its psychometric properties are still unknown and data on practicing psychiatrists is lacking. Therefore, this multicenter study aimed to assess the psychometric characteristics of the 15-item OMS-HC in trainees and specialists in adult and child psychiatry in 32 countries across Europe.

Background: This dynamic dataset aims to gather all available data, extracted mostly from the preserved material deposited at the leading Ukrainian herbaria on the distribution of the endemic vascular plants in the Ukrainian Carpathians and adjacent territories. This dataset is created in the framework of mapping the distribution of the endemic plants and is aimed to unveil the patterns of their spatial distribution, ecological preferences and temporal trends in the flora of the Ukrainian Carpathians. A total of 76 species and subspecies of vascular plants belonging to 49 genera and 27 families are reported herein to occur in the Ukrainian Carpathians and close regions.

Objective: The aim: The study aims to provide evidence of the effectiveness of online low-intensity CBT-based psychological interventions on the psychological well-being of people with social anxiety disorders and related impairments in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: 222 volunteers aged 18-35 years included in study: low-intensity CBT group (n=106) and control group (n=116). To assess the mental health prob¬lems were used International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI) and a set of IAPT scales.
Chemical yield is the percentage of the reactants converted to the desired products. Chemists use predictive algorithms to select high-yielding reactions and score synthesis routes, saving time and reagents. This study suggests a novel graph neural network architecture for chemical yield prediction.

The characteristics of the individual's time perspective in relation to changes in social, economic, and political conditions are of major conceptual interest. We assessed the time orientations of 1588 Ukrainian students living in two different regions (western and south-eastern Ukraine) with the Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI) before (2010-2013) and during (2014-2016) the socioeconomic, political, and military crises which started in 2014, eight years before the war in 2022. We applied ANOVAs with the ZTPI dimensions as dependent variables and the period of testing (precrisis, postcrisis) as an independent variable for the two Ukrainian regions separately.

This study unites six popular machine learning approaches to enhance the prediction of a molecular binding affinity between receptors (large protein molecules) and ligands (small organic molecules). Here we examine a scheme where affinity of ligands is predicted against a single receptor - human thrombin, thus, the models consider ligand features only. However, the suggested approach can be repurposed for other receptors.

Advances in microscopy have increased output data volumes, and powerful image analysis methods are required to match. In particular, finding and characterizing nuclei from microscopy images, a core cytometry task, remains difficult to automate. While deep learning models have given encouraging results on this problem, the most powerful approaches have not yet been tested for attacking it.

Background: Premature ventricular contraction (PVC) is among the most frequently occurring types of arrhythmias. Existing approaches for automated PVC identification suffer from a range of disadvantages related to hand-crafted features and benchmarking on datasets with a tiny sample of PVC beats.
Objective: The main objective is to address the drawbacks described above in the proposed framework, which takes a raw ECG signal as an input and localizes R peaks of the PVC beats.
