Background: The research of the triad of feelings of pain, aggression, and emptiness in the context of the war in Ukraine is relevant and essential for understanding their impact on the health and quality of life of victims, the development of support and rehabilitation, and the process of rebuilding society after the conflict. The purpose of the research on interrelated feelings is to understand their interconnection and influence on each other, to identify the factors and mechanisms underlying this triad, and to determine their impact on human well-being.

Introduction: People who inject drugs experience poor health and social outcomes which improve with opioid agonist therapies like methadone, yet provider stigma may influence healthcare utilization. In Ukraine, integrating methadone into primary care centers (PCCs) provides an opportunity to examine provider stigma and its impact on patient outcomes.

Methods: This sub-analysis included patients randomized to receive methadone in PCCs as part of an implementation trial in which the control group received methadone in specialty addiction clinics in Ukraine.

Purpose: Puberty is a key phase of growth and development, characterized by psychophysical transformations. It is driven by a combination of genetic, hormonal, and environmental variables. Epigenetic mechanisms, including histone post-translational modifications and chromatin remodeling, microRNAs, and DNA methylation, play important roles in orchestrating the developmental processes.

They are responsible for the formation and processing of various ribonucleic acids (RNAs), including the messenger RNA and all types of microRNAs, and determine the duration of the existence of different RNAs in the cell and extracellular environment. Unlabelled: The study aimed to identify the clinically relevant gene variants in colon adenocarcinoma samples of Ukrainian patients using the NGS Comprehensive Cancer Panel (CCP) to implement them conveniently in clinical practice.

Methods: We have studied 20 samples of Ukrainian patients with colorectal adenocarcinomas of various differentiation grades. To identify the clinically relevant gene variants, the CCP data were filtered using the Franklin by Genoox database.

Background: The ability to metabolic reprogramming is a distinctive feature of metastatically active tumor cells. A classic example of metabolic reprogramming, characteristic of almost all malignant cells, is aerobic glycolysis. Therefore, inhibition of glycolysis in tumor cells is considered a promising strategy for antitumor therapy.

SIGNIFICANCE OF miRNA-185-5P AND miRNA-424-5P AS PROGNOSTIC MARKERS IN PROGRESSION OF EARLY-STAGE ENDOMETRIAL CANCER.

Aim: To compare the expression of miRNA-185-5p and miRNA-424-5p in tumor cells and peripheral blood serum (PBS) of patients with endometrioid carcinoma of the endometrium (ECE) and to evaluate the significance of these biomarkers in cancer progression.

Materials And Methods: The study was conducted on the samples of peripheral blood serum (PBS) and tumor tissue of 58 patients with stage I ECE using clinical and morphological methods and real-time polymerase chain reaction.

Results: A significant increase in the levels of circulating and tumor-associated miRNA-424-5p was established in ECE patients with a history of recurrences compared to patients without recurrences.

Background: The development of new approaches to modeling tumor radiosensitivity in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) is an important problem for overcoming tumor radioresistance. New agents for radiomodification are inhibitors of the enzyme cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). The study of markers of radioresistance in cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy (RT) in combination with COX-2 inhibitors and chemotherapy may contribute to the effectiveness of RT.

AGGRESSIVE RHABDOID TUMOR IN THE RIGHT LUNG: A CASE REPORT.

Rhabdoid tumor is a rare and aggressive neoplasm that usually occurs in children and is often localized in the central nervous system and kidneys, but can be found in many other sites. In our case report, we describe a tumor that was found on computed tomography in the thoracic region of a 62-year-old male and was successfully surgically resected. The images and descriptions of our findings and the results of the additional immunohistochemical studies allow us to make the final diagnosis.

Colorectal cancer is influenced by genetic mutations, lifestyle factors, and diet, particularly high fat intake, which raises bile acid levels in the intestinal lumen. This study hypothesized that bile acids contribute to tumorigenesis by disrupting ion transport and ATPase activity in the intestinal mucosa. Analysis of the 10-day ultra-marathon using a predictive XG boost model.

Objective: Ultra-marathon running races are held as distance-limited or time-limited events, ranging from 6 h to 10 days. Only a few runners compete in 10-day events, and so far, we have little knowledge about the athletes' origins, performance, and event characteristics. The aim of the present study was to investigate the origin and performance of these runners and the fastest race locations.

Bioinformatic approach to identifying causative missense polymorphisms in animal genomes.

Background: Trends in the development of genetic markers for the purposes of genomic and marker-assisted selection primarily focus on identifying causative polymorphisms. Using these polymorphisms as markers enables a more accurate association between genotype and phenotype. Bioinformatic analysis allows calculating the impact of missense polymorphisms on the structural and functional characteristics of proteins, which makes it promising for identifying causative polymorphisms.

The 1990 resolution by the UN General Assembly committed member states to provide health-care equity for people in prison, who are included in the global goals to control HIV and eliminate hepatitis C virus (HCV) by 2030. WHO has set ambitious HCV elimination targets by including people who inject drugs (PWID), yet has not prioritised PWID who are incarcerated, a substantial population who have or are at risk for HCV infection. Human rights principles of health-care equity stipulate that "prisoners should enjoy the same standards of health care that are available in the community, without discrimination on the grounds of their legal status".

Thyroid doses for the Chornobyl Tissue Bank: improved estimates based on revised methodology and individual residence and diet history.

Increased thyroid cancer incidence has been one of the principal adverse health effects of the Chornobyl (Chernobyl) nuclear power plant accident. Accurate dose estimation is critical for assessing the radiation dose-response relationship. Current dosimetry estimates for individuals from the Chornobyl Tissue Bank (CTB) are based only on the limited information on their places of residence at the time of the accident and/or at the time of surgery for thyroid cancer.

Fructose-mediated AGE-RAGE axis: approaches for mild modulation.

Fructose is a valuable and healthy nutrient when consumed at normal levels (≤50 g/day). However, long-term consumption of excessive fructose and elevated endogenous production can have detrimental health impacts. Safety and Efficacy of BioMime Sirolimus-Eluting Stent System in All-Comers Real-World Population With Coronary Artery Stenosis: MILES Global Registry.

Background: This study evaluated the safety and efficacy of BioMime sirolimus-eluting stent (SES) system, with an ultra-low strut thickness (65 µm), in real-world all-comers population with coronary artery stenosis (CAD).

Methods: This was a post-marketing, multicenter, single-arm, observational clinical registry among patients undergoing intervention for CAD. Patients were clinically followed up at 1, 9, 12, and 24 months after the index percutaneous coronary intervention.
