This study addressed this gap by investigating the direct and indirect effects of the HateLess anti-hate speech prevention program on inclusive classroom climate, classroom cohesion, empathy, and self-efficacy among adolescents.

Gestational diabetes mellitus and subsequent cardiovascular disease in a period of rising diagnoses: Cohort study.

Introduction: Evidence suggests that gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is associated with subsequent cardiovascular disease; however, it is unclear what impact changes in screening and diagnostic criteria have had on the association of GDM with long-term outcomes such as cardiovascular disease. The purpose of this study was to determine the association between GDM and subsequent cardiovascular disease during a period of rising gestational diabetes diagnosis in England. Specifically, associations were compared before and after 2008, when national guidelines supporting risk factor-based screening were introduced.

Hence, we used live-cell microscopy imaging to demonstrate that endogenous fluorescently labeled VAV2, a guanine nucleotide exchange factor for Rho GTPases, is co-endocytosed with EGFR in genome-edited human oral squamous cell carcinoma (HSC3) cells, an in vitro model for head-and-neck cancer where VAV2 is known to promote metastasis and associates with poor prognosis.

This essay explores how Audre Lorde's work as a professor can help contemporary educators teach students about difference and power. Drawing from my new book , it focuses on two particular facets of her teaching: first, the ways Lorde centered students' ideas to generate collective investment in courses and allow them to learn from one another, and second, how she combined both a public and private pedagogy to help them address the injustice they were studying. I conclude with a brief discussion of how Lorde's work has shaped my own approach to classrooms.
