In this paper, we consider StQPs with a hard sparsity constraint, referred to as sparse StQPs. We focus on various tractable convex relaxations of sparse StQPs arising from a mixed-binary quadratic formulation, namely, the linear optimization relaxation given by the reformulation-linearization technique, the Shor relaxation, and the relaxation resulting from their combination.

Bis(diiminate)-Supported Bimetallic Complexes: Tri-Coordinated Zinc for Nitrile and Carbodiimide Hydroboration.

We report the synthesis and characterization of bis(diiminate)-supported tricoordinated zinc complexes () and demonstrate the catalytic activity of one representative compound in the hydroboration of nitriles and carbodiimides using pinacolborane (HBpin). Experimental and theoretical studies were performed to elucidate the reaction mechanism. Our findings indicate that the hydroboration reaction initiates with the formation of a tricoordinated zinc hydride intermediate, followed by the subsequent attack of nitriles and carbodiimides.

Anaemia is a prevalent complication in patients with end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) undergoing haemodialysis. This study evaluates the accuracy of the Alio SmartPatch™, a non-invasive remote monitoring device, in measuring haemoglobin (Hb) and haematocrit (Hct) levels in haemodialysis patients by comparing its results with standard blood-based laboratory methods. The results from 116 patients across multiple sites in the USA and the Kingdom of Jordan show that SmartPatch measurements align closely with standard blood-based laboratory methods, meeting clinically acceptable limits of agreement.
