These groups of conditions include diseases such as restless legs syndrome, periodic leg movements, and REM and NREM parasomnias. Introduction: When oral or transdermal drug therapy in Parkinson's disease becomes less effective, there are three therapies using assisted devices that can reduce motor and non-motor complications: subcutaneous apomorphine infusion pump (SAIP), continuous levodopa/carbidopa duodenal infusion (LDI) and deep brain stimulation (DBS).
Aim: Conduct a comparative pharmacoeconomic analysis of the use of SAIP, with LDI and DBS. As a secondary objective arises discuss the profile of the ideal candidate for each of the technicals.
One of the main objectives of the Spanish Sleep Society is to promote healthy sleep in both the general population and in health professionals. This document aims to conduct a review of the current scientific literature on sleep habits that can serve as the basis on which to establish a set of general recommendations, regarding healthy sleep, for use by the general population in Spain as well as to identify the main challenges faced by research into sleep habits. The document has been developed by a multidisciplinary team made up of members of the Spanish Sleep Society who are experts in paediatric sleep medicine, clinical neurophysiology, pulmonology, neurology, chronobiology, physiology and psychology.

Introduction: Sleep disorders are common in children with neurological disorders. The aim of this study is to know the opinion of neuropediatricians and the prevalence of these disturbances in Spain.
Patients And Methods: Multicenter cross-sectional study (12 Spanish hospitals, 15 researchers).
Introduction: The development of atypical features in rolandic epilepsy is part of a clinical spectrum of phenotypes that are variable, idiopathic and age-dependent, as well as having a genetically determined predisposition.
Aim: To study the electroclinical characteristics suggesting an atypical development in rolandic epilepsy.
Patients And Methods: A retrospective search was performed in 133 children diagnosed with atypical benign focal epilepsy (ABFE), Landau-Kleffner syndrome and continuous spike-wave during sleep (CSWS).

However, the impact in speed of information processing of depressive symptoms, that are highly prevalent in this population, has not been precisely defined yet due to the presence of some methodological limitations in most preceding studies.
Subjects And Methods: 42 MS remittent recurrent patients, 20 with depressive symptoms (BDI > 13), and 22 without, were compared to 24 healthy controls in neuropsychological tasks of speed of processing (SDMT, Stroop, TMT y PASAT-BNB).

Introduction: Pain is a frequent symptom in multiple sclerosis (MS), although its prevalence and its importance vary from one study to another.
Aim: To analyse the prevalence, types, mechanisms and treatments of the different painful syndromes that affect patients with MS.
Development: The work includes a non-systematic review of the literature on the above-mentioned aspects in patients with MS.
