Background: We investigated factors associated with post-transplant growth in pediatric kidney transplant (KTx) recipients with a focus on plasma bicarbonate (HCO3) and estimated the effect of alkali treatment on growth.

Methods: In this study of the CERTAIN Registry, data were collected up to 5 years post-transplant. Generalized Additive Mixed Models were applied to assess the association between post-transplant growth and covariates.

Method: A phenomenological design was used in this study, with its conceptual framework being formed by the Roy Adaptation Model. The sample was composed of women with precancerous cervical lesions (n:23) and their spouses (n:5).

Quantitative research design was used in this research conducted in Konya, a metropolitan city in Turkey.

Methods: This retrospective study included a total of 103 eyes: 38 from EG patients, 30 from PPG patients, and 35 from healthy individuals at Ankara Bilkent City Hospital Glaucoma Unit between January 2018 and September 2021. Eyes were categorized into control, PPG, and EG groups based on visual field (VF) classification.

Purpose To investigate changes in accommodation amplitude (AA) after strabismus surgery. Methods The medical records of patients who underwent full-tendon tenotomy on at least one rectus muscle between January 2023 and July 2023 were reviewed retrospectively. AA was evaluated objectively and monocularly with the autorefractometry (Tonoref III, ARK-1a, NIDEK Co Ltd, Gamagori, Japan).

However, to the best of our knowledge, there has been no study investigating prevalence and features of sleep disorders in youth with ASD with and without comorbid BD. The aim of this case-controlled study was to investigate sleep disturbances in autistic youth with and without comorbid BD.

New 2-indolinone-indole hybrid compounds carrying a benzoyl moiety as tyrosine kinase inhibitors.

In this study, new 2-indolinone-indole hybrid compounds (4a-s) carrying a benzoyl moiety were synthesized and their cytotoxic effects were examined against pancreatic (MIA-PaCa-2) and colon (HT-29 and HCT-116) cancer cells by MTT assays. Most of the tested compounds exhibited a better inhibitory activity and safety profile than the reference standard sunitinib malate against MIA-PaCa-2 and HCT-116 cancer cells. Objective: This study aimed to conduct a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the literature on Brief Resolved Unexplained Event (BRUE) and its predecessor, Apparent Life-Threatening Event (ALTE), from 1988 to 2024, in order to identify research trends, collaborative networks, and areas of focus in this field.

Methods: We analyzed articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science using various bibliometric indicators. The visualization of bibliometric networks was performed using VOSviewer and bibliometrix.

In the era of economic globalization, China attracts significant foreign direct investment (FDI) to accelerate economic prosperity. FDI inflows could have ramifications on environmental degradation (ED) despite the enactment of different environmental regulations (ERs) such as market-incentive, command-and-control as well as informal regulations. Though some studies have shown that FDI and ED have significant relationship, the moderating roles of different ERs on the environmental impact of FDI has not been empirically unraveled.
