BackgroundLower extremity peripheral arterial disease (LEAD) is characterized by the narrowing and occlusion of arteries in the lower extremities. The most severe form of LEAD is chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI), which carries a poorer prognosis for major amputation. The systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) is an index developed to simultaneously reflect the inflammatory and immunothrombosis status of patients, based on platelet counts and the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio.

Background: Hypertension is a common public health problem characterized by high blood pressure (BP) and associated with complications such as coronary artery disease, stroke, and renal failure. Physical activity and exercise regulate BP, and assessment of exercise capacity is a cornerstone of exercise training.
Objective: The aims of this study were to evaluate the validity and reliability of the 6-min stepper test (6MST) in hypertensive individuals and compare their physiological responses during the 6MST and 6-min walk test (6MWT).

Cancer remains a critical global health challenge, necessitating advanced drug delivery systems through innovations in materials science and nanotechnology. This study evaluates Gadolinium Metal-Organic Frameworks (Gd-MOFs) as potential drug delivery systems for anticancer therapy, particularly when combined with radiotherapy. Gd-MOFs were synthesized using terephthalic acid and gadolinium (III) chloride hexahydrate, then loaded with methotrexate (MTX).

The zygomatic bone is crucial in dental implantology, wherein zygomatic implants are increasingly used for patients with insufficient maxillary bone. A comprehensive understanding of the complex anatomy of the zygomatic bone is essential for minimizing surgical complications and optimizing implant success. This study aimed to provide morphometric data through cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) and microcomputed tomography (μCT) to assist dental radiologists and surgeons in preoperative planning and implant placement.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to compare the quality of life, daily physical activity level and perception of illness in patients with chronic daily headache, medication-overuse headache, episodic migraine, and episodic tension-type headache across disease subgroups with respect to possible risk factors such as alcohol/caffeine/nicotine use, eating attitude, which may trigger chronic headache and medication overuse.
Materials And Methods: VAS, International Physical Activity Questionnaire (Short) forms, SF-36 Quality of Life Scale, Illness Perception Questionnaire, Beck Anxiety Inventory, Beck Depression Inventory, Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire, Eating Attitude Test, SCID-I were applied to the patients.
Results: Disease type mean score and psychological causes mean score were found to be the highest in the chronic tension type headache (CTTH) group among tension type headache (TTH) subgroups.

Objectives: Malrotation is a congenital anomaly characterized by improper positioning of the intestines that can cause a range of symptoms from asymptomatic to life-threatening, including midgut volvulus. Diagnosis of malrotation can be particularly challenging in cases where symptoms resemble those of other illnesses, such as severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID).
Case Report: In this case study, we describe a 2-month-old girl with midgut volvulus secondary to malrotation.

This research aimed to measure radon activity concentrations in bottled drinking water (BDW) samples consumed in Kahramanmaraş town, Turkiye. Also, to evaluate the health risk that may occur as a result of internal irradiation resulting from ingestion and inhalation of radon in BDW samples, the total annual effective dose equivalent (AEDE) for infants, children, and adults (1-2 y, 2-12 y, and > 17 y) and excess lifetime cancer risk (ELCR) for adults (> 17 y) had to be calculated. For these purposes, 32 water samples of different volumes belonging to 8 different commercial brands, representing a large part of the BDW consumed as drinking water and sold commercially in Kahramanmaraş were collected by purchasing from markets.

Anagen effluvium is a rare adverse effect of methotrexate therapy, generally associated with high-dose regimens. We report a 12-year-old girl who developed abrupt hair loss 1 week after inadvertently taking methotrexate 15 mg daily for five consecutive days (total 75 mg), without other signs of systemic toxicity. Trichoscopic examination and trichogram findings confirmed methotrexate-induced anagen effluvium, and spontaneous hair regrowth occurred after 2 months.

Objective: This study aims at evaluating if ChatGPT-based artificial intelligence (AI) models are effective in interpreting electrocardiograms (ECGs) and determine their accuracy as compared to those of cardiologists. The purpose is therefore to explore if ChatGPT can be employed for clinical setting, particularly where there are no available cardiologists.
Methods: A total of 107 ECG cases classified according to difficulty (simple, intermediate, complex) were analyzed using three AI models (GPT-ECGReader, GPT-ECGAnalyzer, GPT-ECGInterpreter) and compared with the performance of two cardiologists.

IntroductionPeripheral artery disease (PAD) poses a growing clinical challenge due to an aging population, despite advances in treatment methods. Various scoring systems have emerged to predict high-risk patients, including the HALP (hemoglobin, albumin, lymphocyte, and platelet) score, known for predicting prognosis in cancers and stroke. This study assesses the HALP score's relation to lesion severity and long-term mortality in PAD patients.
