Objective: High-resolution images of finger joints with chemical-shift elimination can be obtained using an interleaved water-fat (IWF) sequence. This study assessed IWF imaging of finger joints in the delineation of bone structures by comparing images of cadaver fingers with those of microcomputed tomography (CT) that served as a standard reference.

Because myeloid cells particularly microglia are likely major reservoirs in the brain, and more microglia exist in white matter than gray matter in a human brain, we hypothesized the major viral reservoirs in the brain are the white matter reflected by higher levels of viral DNA.

A comparison of three induction therapies on patients with delayed graft function after kidney transplantation.

We compare the outcomes of induction therapies with either methylprednisolone (group 1, n = 58), basiliximab (group 2, n = 56) or alemtuzumab (group 3, n = 98) in primary deceased donor kidney transplants with delayed graft function (DGF).
