Objective: To report 52-week safety and efficacy of ianalumab from phase 2b dose-finding study in patients with Sjögren's disease (SjD).
Methods: Patients randomly received (1:1:1:1) ianalumab (5, 50, or 300 mg) or placebo subcutaneously every 4 weeks till week 24 (treatment period [TP]1). At week 24, patients on 300 mg were re-randomized to continue 300 mg or receive placebo till week 52 (TP2), patients on placebo were switched to ianalumab 150 mg, while patients on 5 and 50 mg directly entered post treatment safety follow-up.

The study of notable people as advocates for raising cancer awareness began in the latter decades of the 20th century. This research aimed to identify Pan-American notable people with head and neck cancer (HNC) and to explore senior health professionals' perspectives on communicating stories of notable patients with HNC to promote prevention. A cross-sectional survey was conducted using an online questionnaire designed in REDCap and administered to 32 senior health professionals with long-standing academic and clinical backgrounds in HNC.

Objectives: To create optimal oral and overall community health, dental public health (DPH) specialists must be competent and appropriately skilled to deal with contemporary and emergent public health issues. This study aims to evaluate the current job market demands related to the DPH profession and suggest contemporary skills and qualities that would enable DPH professionals to address emerging issues more effectively in their field.
Methods: A multimethod qualitative study was conducted involving two distinct groups: employers and potential employees.

Objective: This systematic review aimed to determine the clinical and epidemiologic profile of patients with burning mouth syndrome (BMS) following the current classification of the International Headache Society (IHS)-the International Classification of Headache Disorders (ICHD-3) and the International Classification of Orofacial Pain (ICOP).
Study Design: This review followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses checklist and involved a comprehensive search on PubMed, Scopus, EMBASE, Web of Science, LILACS, and the gray literature.
Results: Of the 4,252 studies identified, 41 were included.

Purpose: To assess the effect of different scan patterns on the fit of implant-supported complete-arch prototype prostheses fabricated via a complete digital extraoral protocol with a reverse scan body.
Materials And Methods: A mandibular cast with four multi-unit abutment (MUA) implant analogs with adequate antero-posterior spread served as the reference cast, simulating a common clinical patient situation, and a polymethylmethacrylate interim screw-retained prosthesis was fabricated on it. Novel reverse scan bodies were connected to the interim prosthesis on the intaglio of the MUA abutments and extraoral scanning was performed with a white light intraoral scanner (TRIOS 4; 3 shape) and three different scan patterns: starting from the occlusal surface of the interim prosthesis (O-group), starting from the intaglio (I-group), and helix pattern (H-group).

Statement Of Problem: Clinical research has difficulty keeping pace with the rapid evolution of materials, protocols, and designs of single-unit implant restorations. The clinical design preferences of prosthodontics for different clinical scenarios are lacking.
Purpose: The purpose of this cross-sectional survey was to determine the current prevalence of usage of various treatment options and materials for single-unit implant-supported restorations.

Purpose: To assess the accuracy of fit of milled prosthesis prototypes for completely edentulous patients using a digital workflow.
Materials And Methods: Sixteen patients received intraoral full-arch digital scans with the double digital scanning (DDS) technique and the generated standard tessellation language (STL) files were superimposed and imported into computer-aided design software (Exocad DentalCAD, exocad GmbH, Darmstadt, Germany) for design. After the design, each master STL file was used for computer-aided manufacturing of the prosthesis prototypes through a complete digital workflow.

Purpose: To assess the effect of implant abutment material and soft tissue thickness on the peri-implant soft tissue color using spectrophotometry and to evaluate gingival esthetics and patient satisfaction with three different abutments.
Materials And Methods: Twenty-five patients with a missing maxillary tooth in the esthetic area received an endosseous implant using a two-stage protocol. Gray titanium, pink anodized titanium, and hybrid zirconia custom abutments were fabricated for each participant and inserted for one week with a cross-over design in a randomized manner.

Statement Of Problem: Limited information is available on the association between prosthesis-associated risk factors and biologic complications for patients with implant fixed complete dental prostheses (IFCDPs).
Purpose: The purpose of this retrospective study was to assess the implant survival and biologic complications of IFCDPs up to 5 years of follow-up.
Material And Methods: Patients who had received IFCDPs between August 1, 2009 and August 1, 2014 were identified through an electronic health record review.

Background: A core outcome set (COS) represents the agreed minimum set of domains and measurement instruments that should be measured and reported in any clinical trial for a given condition. In BMS randomized controlled trials (RCTs), the outcomes identified in the existing literature regarding the efficacy of therapeutic interventions are numerous and diverse. Although the standardized IMMPACT core outcome domains has been developed for measurement of outcomes in chronic pain RCTs, no BMS-specific COS have been adopted and validated.

Objectives: Controversy exists about whether the elastic modulus (E) mismatch between the loading indenter and ceramic materials influences fatigue testing results. The research hypotheses were that for porcelain veneered Y-TZP crowns 1) A low modulus Steatite indenter (SB) leads to higher fatigue reliability compared to a high modulus tungsten carbide indenter (WC); 2) Different surface damage patterns are expected between low and high modulus indenters after sliding contact fatigue testing. All ceramic crowns will exhibit similar step-stress accelerated life testing (SSALT) contact fatigue reliability (hypothesis 1) and failure characteristics (hypothesis 2) when using high stiffness tungsten carbide (WC, E = 600 GPa) vs.

A clinical and laboratory workflow for fabricating and retrofitting a monolithic ceramic crown to an existing removable partial denture (RPD) is described. A conventional polyvinyl siloxane impression was made of the prepared tooth with the RPD in place. A stone cast was poured and, after die sectioning, scanned with a tabletop scanner.
