This research is comparative study of gold mining and non-gold mining areas, using four community vulnerability indicators. Vulnerability indicators are exposure degree, contamination rate, chronic, and acute toxicity. Each indicator used different samples, such as wastewater from gold mining process, river water from Tajum river, human hair samples, and health questionnaire.

Transient responses of ventilation (V̇e) to limb motion can exhibit predictive characteristics. In response to a change in limb motion, a rapid change in V̇e is commonly observed with characteristics different than during a change in workload. This rapid change has been attributed to a feed-forward or adaptive response.

In order to analyze the stochastic property of multilayered perceptrons or other learning machines, we deal with simpler models and derive the asymptotic distribution of the least-squares estimators of their parameters. In the case where a model is unidentified, we show different results from traditional linear models: the well-known property of asymptotic normality never holds for the estimates of redundant parameters.

Cold exposure treatments including cryotherapy have been developed because of many physiological effects, one of which is the vascular hunting reaction called CIVD. In this study, CIVD was determined from the experiments where subject's right forearm was exposed to various air temperatures. The experiments were carefully designed to induce no pain during cold exposure.
