Background: Efficacy and safety of belatacept have not been specifically reported for kidney transplantations from donors after circulatory death.
Methods: In this retrospective multicenter paired kidney study, we compared the outcome of kidney transplantations with a belatacept-based to a calcineurin inhibitor (CNI)-based immunosuppression. We included all kidney transplant recipients from donors after uncontrolled or controlled circulatory death performed in our center between February 2015 and October 2020 and treated with belatacept (n = 31).
Persistent Müllerian duct syndrome is a disorder of sexual development, which features a failure of involution of Müllerian structures. An enlarged prostatic utricle is a kind of Müllerian duct remnant (MDR) with a tubular shaped structure communicating with the prostatic urethra. Treatment is aimed at relieving symptoms when present, preserve fertility and prevent neoplastic degeneration.

Background: Intraoperative frozen section (FS) and imprint cytology (IC) are currently used to detect sentinel lymph node (SLN) metastasis, allowing for complete dissection when necessary.
Materials And Methods: A 2-year retrospective chart review was performed for patients who underwent SLN procedure in five French hospitals. The FS and IC results were compared to the definitive histology in order to calculate the sensitivity, specificity and false-negative rate.

Most clinical studies on carbon dioxide (CO2) (lambda = 10.6 mm) laser stapedotomy have been carried out with the laser guided by a conventional lens-based micromanipulator, with the attendant risks of correct aiming (HeNe) and surgical (CO2) beam misalignment. Hence, engineering advances have attempted to improve laser targeting as well as the spot size focus.
