Background/objectives: Very high-power and short-duration (vHPSD) ablation with QDOT MICRO™ facilitates speedy and safe ablation for pulmonary vein isolation. A brief time interval between ablating two neighboring sites with vHPSD may potentially influence the size and geometry of the lesions. This study evaluates lesion formation when delivering adjacent applications using vHPSD at various inter-lesion times (ILTs).

Background: Off-label under- and overdosing of direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) is not uncommon in real-world practice.
Objective: This study aimed to identify efficacy and safety of off-label DOACs dose after AF ablation.
Methods: The RYOUMA registry was a prospective multicenter study of Japanese patients who underwent AF ablation between 2017 and 2018.

Background: Idiopathic ventricular fibrillation (IVF) can be associated with undetected distinct conditions such as microstructural cardiomyopathic alterations (MiCM) or Purkinje (Purk) activities with structurally normal hearts.
Objectives: This study sought to evaluate the characteristics of recurrent VF recorded on implantable defibrillator electrograms, associated with these substrates.
Methods: This was a multicenter collaboration study.

Of the monomorphic ventricular tachycardias, there are 4 specific tachycardias related to the Purkinje system: 1) idiopathic verapamil-sensitive fascicular ventricular tachycardia (FVT); 2) non-re-entrant FVT; 3) bundle branch re-entry and interfascicular re-entry; and 4) Purkinje-mediated VT in structural heart disease. Verapamil-sensitive FVT is classified into 4 types according to the location of the circuit: 1) left posterior type; 2) left anterior type; 3) left upper septal type;and 4) reverse type. And, in the left anterior and posterior types, there are septal and papillary muscle subtypes.

Background: Optimal periprocedural oral anticoagulant (OAC) therapy before catheter ablation (CA) for atrial fibrillation (AF) and the safety profile of OAC discontinuation during the remote period (from 31 days and up to 1 year after CA) have not been well defined.
Methods and results: The RYOUMA registry is a prospective multicenter observational study of Japanese patients who underwent CA for AF in 2017-2018. Of the 3,072 patients, 82.
