In this report, we present the successful treatment of five consecutive cases of premenopausal women suffering from severe menstrual migraine with tokishakuyakusan (TSS). Two patients were complicated by tension-type headache (TTH), and another patient was by medication overuse headache (MOH). The effects of triptans were limited in all of them.

Aim: To describe the registry design of the Japanese Association for Acute Medicine - out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (JAAM-OHCA) Registry as well as its profile on hospital information, patient and emergency medical service characteristics, and in-hospital procedures and outcomes among patients with OHCA who were transported to the participating institutions.

Methods: The special committee aiming to improve the survival after OHCA by providing evidence-based therapeutic strategies and emergency medical systems from the JAAM has launched a multicenter, prospective registry that enrolled OHCA patients who were transported to critical care medical centers or hospitals with an emergency care department. The primary outcome was a favorable neurological status 1 month after OHCA.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) plays a crucial role in type 2 diabetes and hepatocellular carcinoma. The major underlying pathogenesis is hepatic insulin resistance. Benign notochordal cell tumor is a benign intraosseous lesion, demonstrates characteristic imaging features. The lesion demonstrates low-signal intensity in T1-weighted images, high-signal intensity in T2-weighted images, and no enhancement with contrast medium in MRI and slight osteosclerosis in CT. If typical imaging findings are identified, biopsy is not necessary.
