A well-constructed pollen wall is essential for pollen fertility, which relies on the contribution of tapetum. Our results demonstrate an essential role of the tapetum-expressed protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) B'α and B'β in pollen wall formation. This study intents to detect graphical network features associated with seizure relapse following antiseizure medication (ASM) withdrawal. The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of using probiotics with strains related to dopamine and gamma-aminobutyric acid production on clinical features of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and/or attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This randomized, controlled trial involved 38 children with ADHD and 42 children with ASD, aged 5-16 years, who received probiotics (Lactiplantibacillus plantarum and Levilactobacillus brevis 109/cfu/daily) or placebo for 12 weeks. Parent-reported symptoms were assessed using Conners' 3rd-Ed and the Social Responsiveness Scale Test, 2nd-Ed (SRS-2), and children completed the Conners Continuous Performance Test, 3rd-Ed (CPT 3) or Conners Kiddie CPT, 2nd-Ed (K-CPT 2).

Herein, we report an approach for the synthesis of 2-sulfonyl carbazoles from the oxidative C-H sulfonylation of tetrahydrocarbazoles. The mechanistic study reveals that this special selectivity is realized by the addition of a sulfonyl radical to the 3,4-dihydrocabazole intermediate via dehydrogenative desaturation of tetrahydrocarbazoles. This approach features readily available starting materials, high regioselectivity, broad substrate scope, and attractive synthetic utility.

A novel approach for the synthesis of pyrone and indanone derivatives utilizing Fe(III)-catalyzed reductive radical ring expansion of olefins and cyclopropenone has been proposed. The preliminary mechanism study shows that the alkyl radical is formed by hydrogen atom transfer, which can open the tension ring and then generate the intermediate. There are two paths for the intermediate: when there is a hydroxyl group at the β-position of the olefin, the reaction produces pyrones, and otherwise 1-indanone is generated.

To balance the stability and dissolution of polyacrylamide (PAM), emulsion drag reducers dominate the successful operation of volumetric fracturing. Herein, a pH-switchable four-tailed ionic liquid surfactant (OA/Cyclen) is synthesized by oleic acid (OA) and 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane (Cyclen). The four-tailed structure of OA/Cyclen enhances the stability of the emulsion polymerization reactor and supplies enough switchable sites for triggering the intensified release of the PAM emulsion.
