Background: The impact of long-term renal function change on stroke outcomes remains unclear. This study used the CNSR-III (Third China National Stroke Registry) cohort to determine whether changes in estimated glomerular filtration rate based on creatinine and cystatin C (eGFR) during the first year post stroke were associated with 5-year stroke outcomes.
Methods And Results: We included 4270 patients with centrally tested serum creatinine and cystatin C at admission and 1 year post admission and evaluated 5-year follow-up data.

Medulloblastoma (MB), a heterogeneous pediatric brain tumor, poses challenges in the treatment of tumor recurrence and dissemination. To characterize cellular diversity and genetic features, we comprehensively analyzed single-cell/nucleus RNA sequencing (sc/snRNA-seq), single-nucleus assay for transposase-accessible chromatin sequencing (snATAC-seq), and spatial transcriptomics profiles and identified distinct cellular populations in SHH (sonic hedgehog) and Group_3 subgroups, with varying proportions in local recurrence or dissemination. Local recurrence showed higher cycling tumor cell enrichment, whereas disseminated lesions had a relatively notable presence of differentiated subsets.

Spinal cord gliomas are commonly malignant tumors of the spinal cord, leading to a high rate of disability. However, uniform treatment guidelines and comprehensive data on spinal cord gliomas remain limited due to the lack of suitable preclinical animal models. Developing a simple and reproducible animal model has become essential for advancing basic and translational research.

Background: Intracranial aneurysms (IAs) are a significant clinical concern, with detection rates increasing due to advances in imaging technologies. However, precise mechanisms underlying their pathophysiology remain incompletely understood. Recent evidence suggests a pivotal role of oral microbiota dysbiosis, particularly periodontal pathogens, in systemic inflammation that may contribute to IA development and rupture.

Background: Growth hormone-secreting pituitary adenomas (GHPA) display diverse biological behaviors and clinical outcomes, necessitating the identification of tumor heterogeneity and prognostically relevant markers.
Methods: In this study, we performed single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) on 10 GHPA samples, four of which also underwent spatial transcriptome sequencing, and used scRNA-seq data from four normal pituitary samples as controls. Cell subtype characterization in GHPA was analyzed using multiple algorithms to identify malignant bias regulators, which were then validated using a clinical cohort.
