Purpose: To investigate the clinical effect of rapid maxillary expansion with cortical osteotomy combined with orthodontic- orthognathic treatment for skeletal Class Ⅲ malocclusion.

Methods: A total of 84 patients with skeletal Class Ⅲ malocclusion admitted to Jining Dental Hospital from March 2018 to May 2020 were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with orthodontic-orthognathic treatment, while the experimental group was treated with orthodontic-orthognathic treatment with rapid maxillary arch expansion by cortical incision.

Objective: To analyze the pathological features of patients with osteosarcoma and the correlation of expressions of transferrin receptor 1 (TfR1), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-9 in tumor tissue with the pathological features.

Methods: The tumor tissue and paracancerous tissue samples from 31 patients with osteosarcoma were collected before treatment to measure the expressions of TfR1, VEGF and MMP-9. Kaplan-meier curve was used to analyze the relationship of TfR1, VEGF and MMP-9 with the survival time of patients.

Tiny BaSO rod-based X-ray imaging is the most frequently-used method for clinical diagnosis of gastrointestinal motility disorders. The BaSO rods usually have a small size to pass through the gastrointestinal tract smoothly, but suffer from unavoidably low sensitivity. Herein, we developed BiS capsules as a high-performance X-ray contrast agent for gastrointestinal motility assessment for the first time.

IR820, an analog of FDA-approved indocyanine green, is a promising second near-infrared window (NIR-II) fluorescence probe with better NIR-II fluorescence stability and great clinical transformation potential. Moreover, its fluorescence can be further remarkably enhanced by the interaction with albumin. Therefore, it is significant to flexibly design IR820-albumin complex using endogenous or exogenetic albumin to meet the requirements of different biological applications.
