February 2017

Key Laboratory of Hormones and Development (Ministry of Health), Tianjin Key Laboratory of Metabolic Diseases, Tianjin Metabolic Diseases Hospital & Tianjin Institute of Endocrinology, Tianjin Medical University, Tianjin 300070, China.

We explored the redox status of beta 2 glycoprotein I (GPI) in different stages of diabetic angiopathy. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) had a significantly lower proportion of reduced GPI as compared to healthy controls ( < 0.05).

Background: Data on long-term trends in the prevalence and clustering of cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors among women in China are rare, especially among low-income women. The aim of this study was to investigate the secular trends in the prevalence of CVD risk factors among low-income women in northern China.

Materials And Methods: The prevalence and clustering of CVD risk factors, including hypertension, diabetes, obesity, current smoking status, and alcohol consumption, were assessed and compared in women aged 35-74 years in northern China in 1991 and 2011.

Department of Lung Cancer, Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital, National Clinical Research Center for Cancer, Key Laboratory of Cancer Prevention and Therapy, Tianjin Lung Cancer Center, Huanhuxi Road, Hexi District, Tianjin, China. Electronic address:

Background: Our aim was to determinate the prognostic value of neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) in primary operable patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Methods: Six hundred seventy-eight NSCLC patients were enrolled in this study. The prognostic significance of both markers was determined by both univariate and multivariate Cox survival analysis.
