Background: Three-dimensional (3D) visualization has become increasingly prevalent in orthopedic education to tackle the distinct anatomical challenges of the field. However, there is a conspicuous lack of systematic reviews that thoroughly evaluate both the advantages and drawbacks of integrating 3D with problem-based learning (3D + PBL).
Methods: A rigorous search of English databases (Cochrane Library, Embase, PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science) and Chinese databases (National Knowledge Infrastructure: CNKI, Chongqing VIP: VIP, and Wan Fang) were performed up to July 2024 to identify relevant studies.

Remimazolam is an ultra-short-acting intravenous benzodiazepine derivative approved for sedation during gastroscopy and colonoscopy. The present study aimed to compare the safety and efficacy of remimazolam and propofol for general anesthesia with tracheal intubation by meta-analysis. A comprehensive search was conducted in databases, including PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library and Web of Science, to identify relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs).

Background: The effect of proprotein convertase subtilisin kexin type (PCSK9) inhibitors on blood lipids and major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs) is still controversial for acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of PCSK9 inhibitors for ACS patients.
Methods: We searched the following databases until March 2023: PubMed, Embase, Cochrane, Web of Science, CNKI, Chongqing VIP Database and Wan Fang Database.
Heterocyclic amines (HAs) are a group of mutagenic and carcinogenic compounds produced from the processing of high-protein foods, which include 2-amino-3-methylimidazo[4, 5-f]quinoline (IQ) showing the strongest carcinogenic effect. Camels are able to digest HAs in foods, which provide rich microbial resources for the study. Thus, camel rumen and intestinal microbiota were used to degrade IQ, and the dominant microorganisms and their degradation characteristics were investigated.

This study aimed to investigate the effects of carbonic anhydrase 12 (CA12)-siRNA on the paclitaxel sensitivity of breast cancer cells. Normal mammary glandular cell (MCF-10), breast cancer cell (MCF-7), and paclitaxel-resistant breast cancer cells (MCF-7 TaxR) were cultured in experimental control group. Western blot was adopted to detect the expressions of CA12 protein and apoptosis-related proteins in mitochondrial pathway of MCF-10, MCF-7, and MCF-7 TaxR cells.

Rationale: There are already several reports concerning the occurrence of urethral diverticulum (UD) in female patients, but only rarely has a article describing UD combined with UD calculi or squamous carcinoma been published. Moreover, a case with squamous carcinoma and UD calculi at the same time has never been reported, making this the first case report about this condition.

Background: Infection with the hepatitis B virus (HBV) is an independent risk factor for liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma, polymorphisms in HLA-DQB1 play an important role in HBV infections.
Methods: This study examined the relationships between HLA-DQB1 alleles and HBV infection susceptibility among 256 HBV carriers and 433 healthy controls. Venous blood samples were subjected to DQB1 high-resolution typing and testing for interferon-gamma, interleukin-4 (IL-4), interleukin-10, and DQB1 mRNA expression.

Chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is influenced by both viral and host factors. In genome-wide association studies, the human leucocyte antigen HLA-DPA1 and related polymorphism rs3077 were found to be associated with susceptibility to and spontaneous clearance of HBV infection. Here, we evaluated the association between HLA-DPA1 mRNA expression and the risk of HBV infection.
