The study was designed to validate the previously reported 34 SSR markers using 78 chilli genotypes to detect significant trait specific markers as well as superior genotypes resistant to Phytophthora capsici root rot (PcRR). In this context, the identification of germplasm with higher yield per plant (YPP) leads to hype in stress tolerance index (STI) in genotypes, Chakwal3 (11.98), Greenfire (10.

Alkaline phosphatases (ALPs) play crucial role in various functions of human body, such as bone formation, metabolism in liver and intestines, and transfer of nutrients from mother to fetus during pregnancy. However, their overexpression is associated with severe consequences in different patients, such as deposition of minerals in dialysis patients also called coronary calcification and increased bone turnover in patients facing cancer metastization. Due to their involvement in crucial functions of human body and association with such harsh consequences, there is need of newer efficient ALP inhibitors that can tackle ALP excess without derailing the progress of normal functions.

Conventional tillage, extreme climate events, increasing weed incidence, pest and disease pressures, and diminished farm input availability negatively impact crop yield, stability, profitability, and water productivity in South Asia's rice-wheat (R-W) systems. This article reviews and evaluates the effectiveness and benefits of conservation agriculture (CA) practices in improving soil health, water productivity, and sustainability in R-W systems. CA practices focus on minimum soil disturbance, permanent soil cover, and crop rotations.

Drawing on the conservation of resource (COR) theory principles, this study demonstrates how despotic leadership (DL) negatively impacts employee career success (ECS) in the pharmaceutical industry. Since this is a serious growing concern in emerging research and a threat to the career therefore we aimed to investigate the relationship between (DL) and (ECS). Parallel mediating effects of job insecurity (JI) and emotional exhaustion (EE) are also tested which was overlooked in previous literature.

Pea powdery mildew, caused by , is a major limitation to global pea production. The emergence of fungicide-resistant pathogen populations due to frequent and injudicious pesticide application highlights the importance of exploring the synergistic properties of fungicide combinations. This study investigated the efficacy of difenoconazole, thiophanate-methyl, and sulfur, both individually and in mixtures, against powdery mildew and assessed the interaction types between these fungicides.

Standardized welfare assessment protocols are crucial to enhance animal welfare; up to date, there is no data on the level of welfare of camels kept under pastoralism. A tailored protocol for measuring welfare in dromedary camels kept under nomadic pastoralist conditions was recently developed, drawing from the currently available welfare protocol for dromedary camels kept in intensive systems. This study, therefore, aimed to apply the newly developed tailored protocol and assess the welfare of dromedary camels kept under pastoralism in the Southern Punjab Province of Pakistan.

Food and nutrition security are essential for accomplishing sustainable development goals, and a growing population requires various food sources to address hunger and nutrition. Indigenous vegetables are nutritious, healthy, and adaptable to local conditions, making them a potential food and nutrition security resource. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the nutritional richness of indigenous vegetables by comparing the nutritional content of commonly grown indigenous vegetables like Chenopodium album (Bathua), Coccinia grandis (Telakucha), Amaranthus viridis (Shaknotey), Moringa oleifera (Shojne), Alternanthera philoxeroides (Malancha), and Xanthium strumarium (Ghagra) to BARI Lalshak-1 (Amaranthus tricolor).

The research was conducted to explore the affiliation between the physicochemical properties of rice noodles and rice starch of early rice samples of varying amylose content. 3 various types of rice samples were analyzed to uncover how amylose content influences rice noodles' quality. Findings revealed that primarily sensory scores differ in palatability, while textural disparity lies in hardness and chewiness.

Unlabelled: , a notorious member of the ESKAPE pathogens, poses significant public health challenges due to its virulence and multidrug-resistant nature, particularly in methicillin-resistant (MRSA) strains. With the increasing threat of antibiotic resistance, there is an urgent need to develop novel antibiotic agents. This study therefore aims to explore the antibacterial potential of ,-dibenzoylhydrazine (DBH) as a scaffold against drug target enzymes, using integrated computational approaches.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is defined by the deficits of social relating, language, object use and understanding, intelligence and learning, and verbal and nonverbal communication. Most of the individuals with ASD have genetic conditions; however, early identification and intervention reduce the use of health services and other diagnostic procedures. The varied nature of ASD is widely acknowledged, with each affected individual displaying distinct traits.

Background And Aims: Continuous vegetable production under plastic tunnels faces challenges like soil degradation, increased soil-borne pathogens, and diminished eggplant yield. These factors collectively threaten the long-term sustainability of food security by diminishing the productivity and resilience of agricultural soils. This research examined the use of raw garlic stalk (RGS) waste and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) as a sustainable solution for these issues in eggplant monoculture.

Soil remediation for cadmium (Cd) toxicity is essential for successful tobacco cultivation and production. Melatonin application can relieve heavy metal stress and promote plant growth; however, it remains somewhat unclear whether melatonin supplementation can remediate the effects of Cd toxicity on the growth and development of tobacco seedlings. Herein, we evaluated the effect of soil-applied melatonin on Cd accumulation in tobacco seedlings, as well as the responses in growth, physiological and biochemical parameters, and the expression of stress-responsive genes.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition marked by notable challenges in cognitive function, understanding language, recognizing objects, interacting with others, and communicating effectively. Its origins are mainly genetic, and identifying it early and intervening promptly can reduce the necessity for extensive medical treatments and lengthy diagnostic procedures for those impacted by ASD. This research is designed with two types of experimentation for ASD analysis.
