Introduction: is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) that tonifies the kidneys and prevents miscarriage. According to Chinese medicine theory, kidney deficiency is one of the main causes of recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA). The previous studies showed that raw product of (SP) and processed with salt solution (YP) have ameliorative effects on RSA, and that YP is superior to SP.

N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is the most general post-transcriptional modification of eukaryotic mRNAs and long-stranded non-coding RNAs. In this process, It has been shown that FTO associates with the m6A mRNA demethylase and plays a role in diabetic vascular endothelial dysfunction. In the present study, we detected FTO protein expression in HUVECs by Western blot and found that FTO was highly expressed in all disease groups relative to the control group.

Hepatolenticular degeneration is a rare treatable autosomal recessive inherited copper metabolism disorder with a diverse clinical phenotype and an exceptionally complex pathogenesis. Early definitive phenotypic diagnosis and targeted treatment are major challenges worldwide. In this study, we strictly followed the "National Standards of the People's Republic of China - Terminology of Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment (Syndrome Part)," "Chinese Medicine Nomenclature," and the clinical investigation-determined traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation standards at Anhui University of Chinese Medicine to select 6 of the most common traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiations.

Objective: The primary objective of this study was to investigate the risk factors for diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) and to establish an early diagnostic prediction model for its onset, based on clinical data and biochemical indices.
Methods: Retrospective data were collected from 1,446 diabetic patients at the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine and were split into training and internal validation sets in a 7:3 ratio. Additionally, 360 diabetic patients from the Second Affiliated Hospital were used as an external validation cohort.

Wilson's disease (WD) is an inherited disorder that is characterized by abnormal copper metabolism, and treatment of this condition in the clinic focuses on promoting copper ion excretion. Glutathione (GSH) is a tripeptide compound whose active group is a sulfhydryl group, which is involved in many important biochemical reactions. Thus, the antioxidant and integrative detoxification effects of GSH have attracted attention.

Background And Aims: Taohong Siwu Decoction (THSWD) is a traditional Chinese herbal prescription that is effective for ischemic stroke, Whether THSWD regulates the CCL2/CCR2 axis and thus reduces the inflammatory response induced by ischemic stroke is not known. The aim of this study was to elucidate the mechanism of action of THSWD in the treatment of ischemic stroke using bioinformatics combined with and experiments.
Methods: R language was used to analyze middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion (MCAO/R) rat transcriptome data and to identify differential gene expression following THSWD treatment.

The purpose of this study is to identify the therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture (EA) on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury, and to clarify the regulatory mechanism related to telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT)-mediated telomerase activity. A Middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion (MCAO/R) animal model was constructed and rats were treated by EA invention at the Baihui (GV20) and Fengchi (GB20) acupoints. Neurological deficits were assessed via rotarod test and Morris water maze test.

Ferroptosis, an iron-dependent form of cell death, plays a crucial role in the progression of liver injury in Wilson's disease (WD). Gandouling (GDL) has emerged as a potential therapeutic agent for preventing and treating liver injury in WD. However, the precise mechanisms by which GDL mitigates ferroptosis in WD liver injury remain unclear.

Neck lymphatic metastasis is a common occurrence with thyroid cancers, and pre operative lateral lymph node metastasis (LLNM) and postoperative lateral lymph node recurrence (LLNR) are two independent risk factors that are negatively associated with the prognosis of patients with thyroid cancer. The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between central lymph node metastasis (CLNM) and LLNM in patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) with sonographically suspected LLNM, such as those without lymph node fine-needle aspiration (FNA) cytological results or negative FNA results at the time of diagnosis. The predictive ability of CLNM regarding LLNR was also investigated.

Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is widely acknowledged as a vital warning sign contributing to cognitive dysfunction. However, there is still a lack of consensus on whether hypoglycemic events resulting from poor glycemic control increase the risk of cognitive dysfunction in people with diabetes, and the potential dose-response correlation between hypoglycemic events and cognitive dysfunction remains unexplored. The primary objective of the current study was to assess the contribution of hypoglycemic events to cognitive dysfunction in T2DM patients and the dose-response correlation between the two.
