Background: Limited by difficulties in early detection and availabilities of effective treatments, pancreatic cancer is a highly malignant disease with poor prognosis. Patients And Methods: This study surveyed surgeons performing RARP between 2017 and 2018 and asked them to rate operative conditions and difficulty as optimal, good, acceptable, or poor. These answers were stratified as optimal or suboptimal for this study.
Objectives: To report our experience with imaging-guided targeted prostate biopsy (IGTpBx) for patients undergoing initial prostate biopsy in a clinical setting.
Materials And Methods: From July 2014 to February 2020, 305 men who had IGTpBx performed as their first prostate biopsy were enrolled. Two dedicated magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) radiologists segmented at least 1 region of interest (ROI) for each of these men using screening 1.
Objective: To define the value of a digital rectal exam (DRE) in the prostate-magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) era. Prostate MRI is increasingly used in men with elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA) prior to biopsy.
Methods: A retrospective study was performed in men with elevated PSA undergoing MRI followed by MRI fusion with systematic biopsy and men with elevated PSA/active surveillance with negative MRI followed by biopsy.
Activation of the sympathetic nervous system releases catecholamines that can interact with β-adrenergic receptors on tumor cells. Preclinical models have shown that the signaling processes initiated by activation of β-adrenergic receptors increase tumorigenesis, stimulate cell proliferation, and inhibit apoptosis. Indeed, preclinical studies have also shown that β-adrenergic blockade can decrease tumor burden.

Insulin growth-like factor-1 (IGF-1) and its main binding protein insulin growth-like factor binding protein 3 (IGFBP-3) play important roles in cancer development and progression. We hypothesize that circulating IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 may have significant prognostic values in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) patients. Background & Aims: Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) has a hypoxic, immunosuppressive stroma that contributes to its resistance to immune checkpoint blockade therapies. The hypoxia-inducible factors (HIFs) mediate the cellular response to hypoxia, but their role within the PDAC tumor microenvironment remains unknown.

The atezolizumab (Tecentriq), a humanized antibody against human programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1), combined with nab-paclitaxel was granted with accelerated approval to treat unresectable locally advanced or metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) due to the encouraging positive results of the phase 3 IMpassion130 trial using PD-L1 biomarker from immune cells to stratify patients. However, the post-market study IMpassion131 did not support the original observation, resulting in the voluntary withdrawal of atezolizumab from the indication in breast cancer by Genentech in 2021. Emerging evidence has revealed a high frequency of false negative result using the standard immunohistochemical (IHC) staining due to heavy glycosylation of PD-L1.

Background: Patients with IBC often report the disease as initially being misdiagnosed, most commonly as mastitis.
Methods: We reviewed the literature on this challenging diagnosis by using sequential PubMed search criteria including IBC breast symptoms, IBC diagnosis, and IBC imaging modalities to augment the authors' knowledge of IBC.
