The nipple-areolar complex (NAC) is an anatomically unique region from which several normal variants and pathologies arise. Understanding its anatomy is crucial for accurate clinical and imaging assessments, aiding with differential diagnosis, and ensuring radiologic-pathologic concordance. Mammography and US are commonly used for NAC evaluation; however, these are susceptible to technical limitations such as tissue superimposition and artifacts, compromising visualization of abnormalities in this area.

The formation of oligomeric soluble aggregates is related to the toxicity of amyloid peptides and proteins. In this manuscript, we report the use of a ruthenium polypyridyl complex ([Ru(bpy)(dpqp)]) to track the formation of amyloid oligomers at different times using photoluminescence anisotropy. This technique is sensitive to the rotational correlation time of the molecule under study, which is consequently related to the size of the molecule.

Background: Previous studies have not evaluated the prevalence and specific risk factors for the development of left ventricular (LV) thrombus in patients with severely reduced left ventricular dysfunction due to chemotherapy-related cardiomyopathy. We sought to evaluate the prevalence and potential markers of LV thrombus in this patient population.
Methods: From January 2009 to December 2013, patients with chemotherapy-related severe LV dysfunction (LV ejection fraction [LVEF] ≤ 30%) identified from MD Anderson Cancer Center database were reviewed.

Dairy production in the United States is moving towards large-herd milking operations, resulting in an increase in task specialization and work demands. The objective of this project was to provide preliminary evidence of the association of a number of specific job conditions that commonly characterize large-herd parlor milking operations with work-related musculoskeletal symptoms (MSS). A modified version of the Standardized Nordic Questionnaire was administered to assess MSS prevalence among 450 US large-herd parlor workers.
