Although many tools exist, there needs to be a national standardized tool that complies with federal and state law, to objectively measure student pharmacist performance during patient counseling in the community pharmacy setting. The primary objective of this study is to perform an initial analysis of the internal consistency reliability of a patient medication counseling rubric designed with an Indian Health Services theoretical framework.
