An appealing strategy for the treatment of several diseases is the therapeutic targeting of noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs), such as microRNAs (miRNAs) and long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs). Many antisense oligonucleotides and small interfering RNAs have been tested in clinical studies over the past 10 years, and several of these have received FDA approval. However, trial results have thus far been mixed, with some studies reporting strong effects and others showing low effectiveness or side effects, including toxicity.

This study was designed to understand extracts of () and to evaluate the epigenetic modulation of microRNA expression for breast cancer therapy using a selected phyto-nanohybrid treatment. The phytochemical screening revealed the presence of potential phytochemicals and antioxidant scavenging activity in the extracts with a DPPH (2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydroxyl) assay giving an IC value of 20.

Background: The pharmaceutical promotion is "all informational and persuasive activities by manufacturers and distributors, the effect of which is to induce the prescription, supply, purchase and/or use of medicinal drugs. These promotional activities affect the dispensing behavior of physicians and pharmacists and influence begins from educational institutes.
Objective: Our study's main aim was to evaluate opinion and attitude of pharmacy students towards pharmaceutical promotion.
Cancer, characterized as one of the leading causes of death owing to its heterogeneity and complexity, hence poses a significant challenge to health care system across the globe. Current therapies for cancer curtailment are considered to have associated side effects, therefore discovery of novel alternative approaches is need of the time. In this context, natural products have attained an essential spot in the scientific community for the development of novel cancer treatments.

The article proposes a novel approach to assess rotor angle stability in microgrids by enhancing the Modified Galerkin Method (MGM), which is based on the Polynomial Approximation, using real-time RFID data acquisition. Due to their reliance on assumptions, traditional rotor angle stability methodologies frequently fail in online transient stability testing. MGM successfully captures the dynamic behavior of microgrids by approximating state variables using a sequence of polynomials and coefficients.

Treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), a common chronic intestinal disease, by exopolysaccharides (EPSs) produced by lactic acid bacteria has raised increasing concerns. Here, the EPS produced by NMGL2 was evaluated for its ameliorating effect on dextran sodium sulfate (DSS)-induced IBD in mice. Administration of the EPS was shown to decrease the body weight loss and the values of disease activity index (DAI) and alleviate the colon damage as evidenced by an improvement in colonic length shortening, a reduction in colonic coefficient, and a reduction in colonic mucosal architecture and inflammatory infiltration.

Variable viscosity, activation energy and microgravity effects on Darcy nanofluid for the thermal performance improvement in thermal energy storage systems through stretching flat plate solar collector is the focus of this research. Thermal energy storage (TES) can be improved though solar collectors, phase change materials and photovoltaic cells using nanofluid in the base liquid. To increase the reaction rate in nanoparticles, the activation energy and solar radiations are used for the efficiency of TES.

Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a non-protein amino acid primarily biosynthesized in cereals, is vital to the human neurological system. As the primary neurotransmitter, it promotes relaxation, inhibits depression and sleeplessness, and regulates synaptic transmission and neuronal development. GABA also protects the liver, kidneys, and intestines, reduces blood pressure, and fights cancer and inflammation.
