Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) still remains the most lethal gynaecological malignancy in women, despite the recent progress in the management, including surgery and chemotherapy. According to the microarray data of the GSE18520 and GSE54388 datasets, LINC01215 was identified as an upregulated long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) in EOC. Therefore, this study aimed to figure out the involvement of LINC01215 in the progression of EOC.

Purpose: Patients presenting with lymphovascular space invasion (LVSI) had an absolute decrease in survival. In our present study, the potential roles of LVSI on tumor characteristics was explored to predict the difference in the prognosis of ER and HER2 positive T1 tumors.
Methods: A total of 142 breast cancer patients diagnosed with ER+ and HER2+ tumors whose tumor size was ≤ 2 cm were included in this analysis.

Purpose: Patients younger than age 35 that fail to achieve a pathologic complete response (pCR) after Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) tend to have worse long term outcomes. The purpose of our study was to assess the correlation between the conversion of immunohistochemical (IHC) markers and breast density and investigate their association with pathological response and prognosis.
Methods: We included 119 patients younger than age 35 who failed to achieve a pCR after NACT in this analysis.

Background: Breast ultrasound and mammography were used in the detection of residual tumor after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The aim of this study was to evaluate the correlation between clinical and pathological responses with breast density and IHC marker conversion to understand how this information might be used in the future to direct treatment.
Methods: We included 119 patients who underwent CNB and followed NACT.

Background: Mammalian folliculogenesis, maturation of the ovarian follicles, require both growth factors derived from oocyte and surrounding cells, including stromal cells. However, the mechanism by which stromal cells and derived factors regulate oocyte development remains unclear.
Results: We observed that SENP1, a small ubiquitin-related modifier (SUMO)-specific isopeptidase, was expressed in sm22α-positive stromal cells of mouse ovary.

Metabolites are the end products of cellular regulatory processes. Squamous cervical cancer (SCC) can alter the level of certain small molecular metabolite in plasma through modulating gene expression. In this study, we identified two metabolites, phosphatidylcholine (PC) and lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC), which are significantly down- and upregulated in plasma of SCC as compared to uterine fibroid (UF) patients via ultra-performance liquid chromatographic-mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS).

Early diagnosis of intraperitoneal metastasis is a pivot for survival of patients with serous epithelial ovarian cancers (SEOC). However, to date, there is lack of efficient molecular biomarker for early metastasis of SEOC. Here, we found that the expression of chloride intracellular channel 1 (CLIC1) is highly correlative with intraperitoneal metastasis.
