Background: Correlations between idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and lung cancer have been discussed in many previous studies. In the present work, we evaluated the potential diagnostic value of serum levels of Th17 cell-related cytokines for the detection of lung cancer-associated IPF.
Methods: Fifty-six patients who had been diagnosed with lung cancer-associated IPF were enrolled, and 59 patients with lung cancer but without IPF were also enrolled, and 60 healthy volunteers were served as the control group.

Besides, the exact relationship between lung function changes in people with a history of tuberculosis and COPD risk is not clear.

Background: Lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) is a frequently diagnosed cancer worldwide, and it has a poor prognosis. The current study is aimed at developing the prediction of LSCC prognosis by integrating multiomics data including transcriptome, copy number variation data, and mutation data analysis, so as to predict patients' survival and discover new therapeutic targets.
Methods: RNASeq, SNP, CNV data, and LSCC patients' clinical follow-up information were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), and the samples were randomly divided into two groups, namely, the training set and the validation set.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Uyghur medical formula Loki zupa in patients with chronic asthma. Adult patients with chronic asthma randomly received placebo or Loki zupa as add-on to inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) maintenance treatment. Loki zupa or mimics was administered orally 10 ml per time, three times a day for 8 weeks.

To compare the amino acid metabolic profiling in urine of spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR) and normal Wistar rats, and investigate the regulatory effect of extract from Coreopsis tinctoria on blood pressure and amino acid metabolic profiling in SHR. Right aged SHR and Wistar rats were housed to fit the new environment for 2 weeks. After that, their systolic pressure(SBP), diastolic pressure(DBP) were measured and urine was collected.
