Background: Spi-1 proto-oncogene (SPI1), which encodes an ETS-domain transcription factor, can activate gene expression in myeloid and lymphoid lineages. The role of SPI1 in the tumor immune microenvironment in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) remains unknown. In this study, we investigated the possible role of SPI1 in ccRCC using an independent cohort and a comprehensive bioinformatics analysis.

The ability of blood transcriptome analysis to identify dysregulated pathways and outcome-related genes following myocardial infarction remains unknown. Two gene expression datasets (GSE60993 and GSE61144) were downloaded from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) Datasets to identify altered plasma transcriptomes in patients with ST-segment elevated myocardial infarction (STEMI) undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention. GEO2R, Gene Ontology/Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes annotations, protein-protein interaction analysis, etc.

Purpose: To investigate the significance of demographic and pathological characteristics on the survival outcomes of urachal adenocarcinoma (UrAC), primary bladder adenocarcinoma (BAC) and urothelial carcinoma with glandular differentiation (UCGD) in China.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively analyzed cases with non-distant metastases (≤ T4M0). Of 106 patients, 30 (28.

Objectives: To evaluate the prognostic value of systemic Inflammation Response Index (SIRI) in patients with renal cell carcinoma and inferior vena cava tumor thrombus (RCC-IVCTT) treated with radical nephrectomy and IVCTT thrombectomy.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the clinical data of 144 consecutive patients with RCC-IVCTT who received radical nephrectomy and IVCTT thrombectomy at our center from January 2008 to August 2018. Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis was performed to calculate the optimal cutoff value of preoperative SIRI.

Objective: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common and malignant tumors with an insidious onset, difficult early diagnosis, and limited therapy options, resulting in a poor prognosis. Cell division cycle associated 2 (CDCA2), also known as Repo-Man, plays an important role in regulating mitosis and DNA repair, but the involvement of CDCA2 in HCC remains unclear.

Methods: The differentially expressed genes that were significantly upregulated in multiple RNA sequencing datasets of HCC were screened.

Department of Gynecology, 74672Tianjin Third Central Hospital, The Tianjin Third Central Hospital, The Third Central Clinical College of Tianjin Medical University, Tianjin Key Laboratory of Extracorporeal Life Support for Critical Diseases, Tianjin, China.

Choriocarcinoma is a malignant tumor associated with early vascular invasion and a high mortality. Ultra-high-risk choriocarcinoma, which was proposed in the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics cancer report of 2018, has a higher risk of treatment failure and a worse prognosis than choriocarcinoma. We report a rare case of a 39-year-old female patient with ultra-high-risk choriocarcinoma (stage IV:20) with hemorrhage secondary to atraumatic splenic rupture as the initial sign.

Acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) is a dynamic syndrome, and sequential assessments can reflect its prognosis more accurately. Our aim was to build and validate a new scoring system to predict short-term prognosis using baseline and dynamic data in ACLF. We conducted a retrospective cohort analysis of patients with ACLF from three different hospitals in China.
