Methods: Inverted phase and fluorescence microscopic studies were done to demonstrate the effect of chrysin and its combination with cisplatin on cellular morphology and apoptosis. Annexin V-FITC assay was used to quantify the extent of apoptosis in chrysin and chrysin+cisplatin treated cells.

In the present study, the effects and underlying mechanism of action of KLF4 on collagen metabolism was investigated in human hepatic stellate cells (HSC), by downregulating KLF4 expression using small interfering RNA (siRNA).

The aim of the present study was to investigate the role of EphA2 in the carcinogenesis and progression of gastric carcinoma. Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the safety and efficacy of dalteparin during an elective percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedure in a large cohort.

Materials And Methods: In this prospective, randomized, open-label design study, 733 patients undergoing elective PCI were divided into an unfractionated heparin group (group 1, 323 patients) or a dalteparin group (group 2, 410 patients). Blood samples were collected before and 18-24 h after the PCI procedure to determine the serum levels of cardiac troponin I (cTnI) and creatine kinase isoenzyme MB.
