Cardiomyocyte inflammatory injury is likely required for cardiomyocytes death under hyperglycemia condition. Resveratrol (Res) is famous for its anti-inflammatory effect. However, there are few reports about the anti-inflammatory effect of Res induced by high glucose in cardiomyocytes.
