Aberrant splicing events play important roles in the pathogenesis of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). To investigate the aberrant splicing events in AML during treatment, we carried out RNA sequencing in peripheral mononuclear cell samples from a patient with complete remission. In addition to the sequencing samples, selected splicing events were confirmed and validated with real-time quantitative RT-PCR in another seven pairs of samples.

Previous studies indicate that neural progenitor cells seeded in fibrin can differentiate into the glia cells and neurons. However, whether fibrin gel can induce differentiation of neural progenitor cells of spinal cord into motoneurons remains to be elucidated. In this study, we prepared a fibrin-based hybrid gel incorporated with laminin and fibronectin using rat fresh plasma as a crosslinking agent.

Objective: To study the relationship between the resuscitation therapy and intensive insulin therapy on stress-induced hyperglycemia in severe sepsis and septic shock patients, and to evaluate the value on nonlinear viewpoint in the treatment of patients with sepsis.

Methods: The data of 129 hospitalized patients with severe sepsis and septic shock were analyzed and they were divided into eight groups every 6 hours in ascending order for full recovery. The resuscitation therapy time of each group was compared with insulin dosage in each unit time with nonlinear least square method.
