Purpose: LDH caused by lumbar disc degeneration is associated with genetic factors. However, the role of ADAMTS6 and ADAMTS17 genes in LDH risk is still unknown.
Methods: To investigate the interaction between ADAMTS6 and ADAMTS17 variants in the susceptibility of LDH, five SNPs were genotyped in 509 patients and 510 healthy individuals.
