Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a chronic progressive exacerbation of cardiopulmonary vascular disease. The patients' exercise endurance decreased progressively and the survival rate was low. Current basic therapy and targeted drug therapy can improve the quality of life (QoL) of PAH patients, but the long-term efficacy and prognosis are not good.

Background: In this study, we aimed to construct a robust diagnostic model that can predict the early onset of heart failure in patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) following a primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). This diagnostic model can facilitate the early stratification of high-risk patients, thereby optimizing therapeutic management.
Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of 664 patients with STEMI who underwent their inaugural PCI.

Key Clinical Message: Antipsychotic drug treatment is a commonly used therapeutic strategy in the field of psychiatry. Rational and standardized use of antipsychotics is crucial in clinical practice, and excessive use of antipsychotics may lead to severe toxic reactions. Thus, attention should be given to the monitoring of drug concentration and examination of organ function.

Immunotherapy has shown promise in various malignancies but is less effective in tumors with low immunogenicity or immunosuppressive microenvironment, especially sarcomas. Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs) have been associated with a favorable response to immunotherapy and improved survival in cancer patients.

The discovery of the endothelium as a major regulator of vascular tone triggered intense research among basic and clinical investigators to unravel the physiologic and pathophysiologic significance of this phenomenon. Sphingosine-l-phosphate (S1P), derived from the vascular endothelium, is a significant regulator of blood pressure. However, the mechanisms underlying the regulation of S1P biosynthetic pathways in arteries remain to be further clarified.

Introduction: The present study aimed to assess alterations in apoptosis rate, Golgi morphology and GOLPH3 expression following intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) both before and after intervention with OM-MSCs. The objective was to investigate the impact of ICH on Golgi apparatus (GA) stress and to explore the potential protective effects of OM-MSCs on GA following ICH.
Material And Methods: A total of 54 Sprague-Dawley rats were allocated into three experimental groups: sham operation group, ICH group and OM-MSCs group.
Soft tissue sarcoma (STS) is an uncommon malignancy that often carries a grim prognosis. Trophinin-associated protein (TROAP) is augmented in a variety of tumors and can affect tumor proliferation. Nevertheless, the prognostic value and specific functions of TROAP in STS are still vague.

This study aimed to explore the mechanisms by which GCs modulate the functionality of CD4 T cells during infection.
Methods: We consistently measured FOXP3, inflammatory cytokines and phospho-S6 ribosomal protein levels in CD4 T cells from patients undergoing conventional GC treatment.
Background Increased aortic wall stiffness, which even persists after repair, has been reported in patients with tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). We aimed to observe the distensibility of the ascending aorta and descending aorta in fetuses with TOF and explore its relation with aortic blood flow volume and aortic and pulmonary annular size. Methods and Results Twenty-three fetuses with TOF and 23 gestational age-matched normal fetuses were included in this prospective cross-sectional study.

Contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI), which occurs after the use of iodinated contrast media, has become the third leading cause of hospital-acquired acute kidney injury (AKI). It is associated with prolonged hospitalization and increased risks of end-stage renal disease and mortality. The pathogenesis of CI-AKI is unclear and effective treatments are lacking.

However, there was no obvious improvement in sexual health, mental health, and quality of life (QoL) in patients with PAH. Although an important dimension of QoL, little is known about sexual health and sexual health-related QoL of patients with PAH in China.

Ivermectin is a widely used antiparasitic drug and shows promising anticancer activity in various cancer types. Although multiple signaling pathways modulated by ivermectin have been identified in tumor cells, few studies have focused on the exact target of ivermectin. Herein, we report the pharmacological effects and targets of ivermectin in prostate cancer.

YTH-domain family member 2 (YTHDF2) is highly expressed in GBM tissues, while the mechanism of YTHDF2 in TMZ resistance in GBM remains not fully elucidated.
Methods: The YTHDF2 expression in TMZ-resistant tissues and cells was detected.

Genitourinary tumors are groups of tumors with high complexity and heterogeneity. For long-term monitoring, biomarkers that can be used in detection, grading and treatment response assessment are needed. With rapid development in imaging technology and cancer genomics, radiogenomics, the combination of "radiology" and "genomics", has emerged as a powerful tool in oncology practice in recent years because imaging can provide some information that genomic test cannot as gene expression and mutation status are usually evaluated on a small portion of the tumor and are usually not powerful enough to reflect tumor heterogeneity.

Studies on the association between maternal folate status and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) have yielded inconsistent results. This meta-analysis was performed to determine whether there may exist some association between maternal folate status and GDM. Unrestricted searches of PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane, and Embase were conducted.

Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common skeletal disease and the leading cause of pain and disability in the aged population (>65 years). However, the underlying factors involved in OA pathogenesis remain elusive which has resulted in failure to identify disease-modifying OA drugs. Altered metabolism has been shown to be a prominent pathological change in OA.

Laparoscopic surgery is widely used for living donor nephrectomy and has demonstrated superiority over open surgery by improving several outcomes, such as length of hospital stay and morphine requirements. The purpose of the present study was to compare the long-term outcomes of open donor nephrectomy (ODN) versus laparoscopic donor nephrectomy (LDN) using meta-analytical techniques. The Web of Science, PubMed and Cochrane Library databases were searched, for relevant articles published between 1980 and January 20, 2020.
