Background: Stroke frequently results in oropharyngeal dysfunction (OD), leading to difficulties in swallowing and eating, as well as triggering negative emotions, malnutrition, and aspiration pneumonia, which can be detrimental to patients. However, routine nursing interventions often fail to address these issues adequately. Systemic and psychological interventions can improve dysphagia symptoms, relieve negative emotions, and improve quality of life.

Histopathological findings are the gold standard for diagnosing lung nodules, and Invasive diagnostic procedures such as percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy (PTNB) are often inevitable for a confirmative diagnosis. However, the traditional biopsy method is inefficient for the diagnosis of small pulmonary nodules (diameter ≤2.0 cm).

Lung cancer has been one of the deadliest cancers in the world. Afatinib is an ErbB family irreversible blocker that was authorized by the FDA and EMA in 2013 for the treatment of advanced EGFR mutation-positive NSCLC. Therefore, we aim to discover the impact of Afatinib on the development of non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) via modulating the Wnt/-catenin signaling pathway.

Venous ulcer is a common contributor to chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) of lower limbs, which seriously affects the life quality of patients. In this study, we researched the expression characteristics of microRNA-301a-3p (miR-301a-3p) in patients with CVI and investigated the impact of miR-301a-3p on the dysfunction of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). The plasma level of miR-301a-3p in normal controls, patients with varicose great saphenous vein, and patients with the venous ulcer of lower limbs were measured.

Background: This study aimed to explore the specific pathogenesis of lncRNA MALAT1 promoting the invasion and metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) through peripheral blood vessels by regulating the expression of miRNA-613 molecule.

Methods: The data of 60 HCC metastatic patients and 60 HCC non-metastatic patients detected by the contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Qiqihar Medical College from January 2020 to June 2021 were collected, as well as postoperatively retained HCC tissues and paired paracancer tissues (5 cm laterally from the edge of the cancer area), to study the changes of microangiogenesis in HCC tissues with CEUS. The correlation between CEUS grading and lncRNA MALAT1 in patients with HCC was analyzed through Pearson correlation analysis, lncRNA MALAT1 and miRNA-613 in HCC tissues of patients with HCC were detected by qRT-PCR, followed by the bioinformatic analysis for the relationship between lncRNA MALAT1 and miRNA-613.
