To introduce the experience of reconstructing the pelvic floor with a pedicled large omental flap combined with a basement membrane biological mesh in combined pelvic organ resection for locally advanced or locally recurrent rectal cancer combined with sacrococcygeal resection, and to discuss the feasibility, safety, and near-term therapeutic efficacy of this technique. For patients with sacrococcygeal resection of combined pelvic organs, a basement membrane mesh was used to rebuild the pelvic floor with a pedicled greater omentum flap to isolate the abdominopelvic cavity. The main operation was to pull the greater omentum, which preserved the double vascular arches, to the pelvic floor to cover the pelvic floor, and then the mesh was used to cover the posterior peritoneal defect and pelvic inlet with absorbable sutures of 2-0 or thicker.

Objective: To explore the clinical value of 3D Echocardiography (3DE) in evaluating the changes of left atrial volume and pulmonary vein structure in patients with Atrial Fibrillation (AF).
Methods: Clinical data were collected from 54 AF patients. Left Atrial Anteroposterior Diameter (LADap), Left Atrial left and right Diameter (LADml), and Left Atrial upper and lower Diameter (LADsi) were measured; the maximum Left Atrial Volume (LAVmax), minimum Left Atrial Volume (LAVmin), left atrial presystolic volume (LAVpre), and Cross-Sectional Area (CSA) of each pulmonary vein were analyzed.

Sepsis patients are highly prone to sepsis-associated encephalopathy (SAE) complications, resulting in a high mortality rate. Recently, there has been no specific treatment for long-term improvement of cerebral function. Ginsenoside Rh2 is a form of steroidal saponins isolated from plant ginseng and has been shown to possess anti-inflammatory as well as neuroprotective characteristics; yet, the effect of ginsenoside Rh2 on SAE treatment is obscure.

Osteosarcoma is a malignant bone tumor characterized by high metastatic potential and recurrence rates after therapy. The small nuclear ribonucleoprotein polypeptides B and B1 (SNRPB), core components of a spliceosome, exhibit up-regulation across several cancer types. However, the precise role of SNRPB in osteosarcoma progression remains poorly elucidated.

Introduction: With the increasing emphasis on the use of nonanimal ingredients in clinical care, studies have proposed the use of TrypLE™ as an alternative to trypsin. However, previous research has reported insufficient cell yield and viability when using TrypLE to isolate skin cells compared to the dispase/trypsin-EDTA method. This study aimed to propose an improved method for increasing the yield and viability of cells isolated by TrypLE and to evaluate isolated keratinocytes and melanocytes.

To improve the biodistribution of the drug in the tumor, a supramolecular prodrug of SN38 was fabricated in situ between endogenous albumin and SN38 prodrug modified with semaglutide side chain. Firstly, SN38 was conjugated with semaglutide side chain and octadecanedioic acid via glycine linkers to obtain SI-Gly-SN38 and OA-Gly-SN38 prodrugs, respectively. Both SI-Gly-SN38 and OA-Gly-SN38 exhibited excellent stability in PBS for over 24 h.

Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) has received extensive attention as an advanced binary radiotherapy method. However, BNCT still faces poor selectivity of boron agent and is insufficient boron content in tumor tissues. To improve the tumor-targeted ability and boron content, this research aims to design, synthesize and preliminary evaluate a new borane agent Carborane-FAPI, which coupling the o-carborane to the compound skeleton of a mature fibroblast activating protein (FAP) inhibitor (FAPI).
