Article Synopsis
  • Bone marrow-derived CD34-positive endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) play a crucial role in compensatory lung growth (CLG), with microRNA (miR)-155 influencing their functions.
  • Transfecting EPCs with miR-155 can enhance their proliferation, migration, and ability to form tubular structures, while blocking miR-155 has the opposite effect; JARID2 is a target of miR-155 that negatively regulates these processes.
  • Transplanting EPCs treated with miR-155 into lung models significantly boosts lung volume and cell counts, but this effect is reversed when JARID2 is overexpressed, highlighting miR-155's role in promoting CLG through JAR

Renal fibrosis is the common characteristic of chronic kidney disease. Circular RNA plays an essential role in the occurrence and development of Renal fibrosis, but its regulative mechanism remains elusive. The animal and cell model of Renal fibrosis was established, and RNA-sequencing and real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) experiments were implemented.

Background: Post-traumatic growth (PTG) refers to the positive psychological changes experienced with individuals after struggling with highly challenging life circumstances. Forgiveness can facilitate positive outcomes such as reduced distress, anxiety, and depression. Many studies have tested the relationships among forgiveness, social support, and PTG; however, a mechanism of social support has not been completely explored in hemodialysis patients.

Ras‑related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1 (RAC1), a member of the Rac family of guanosine triphosphate phosphohydrolases, has been suggested to be a regulator of myocardial injury during ischemia and reperfusion (I/R). Whether microRNAs (miRs) are involved in the regulation of the aforementioned process remains to be elucidated. In the present study, an model of H9C2 cardiomyocytes was used to establish the overexpression of RAC1 following hypoxia and reoxygenation (H/R).
