Despite significant advancements in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) through immunotherapy, many patients still exhibit resistance to this approach. This study aims to identify the characteristics of individuals who can benefit from immunotherapy, especially immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), and to investigate optimal strategies for patients who experience resistance to it. Data on gene expression patterns and clinical information from NSCLC patients who underwent immunotherapy were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus databases.

Chemotherapeutic insensitivity is a significant barrier for effective treatment of gastric cancer (GC). Recently, emerging evidence has demonstrated that microRNAs (miRNAs) are critically involved in drug resistance. Here, by a large-scale screen, we noticed low expression of miR-126 in the drug-resistant GC cell lines SGC7901/VCR and SGC7901/ADR compared with their parental cell line SGC7901.

The aim of the present study was to explore the potential mechanisms involved in each subtype of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) via subpath analysis and to investigate their relevance in the prevention of HNSCC. Gene expression profiles of GSE6631 and GSE39366 containing 44 and 168 HNSCC samples, respectively, were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) from samples in GSE6631 and GSE393666 were screened using the Detection of Imbalanced Differential Signal (DIDS) method respectively.
