Introduction: The relationship between the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) guidelines and inflammatory markers in laparoscopic surgery has garnered increasing attention. These recommendations are designed to minimize surgical stress and potentially improve recovery outcomes by modifying perioperative care.
Objective: This scoping review aims to evaluate the impact of ERAS recommendations on inflammatory markers in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgeries, identifying current research gaps and consolidating findings from existing studies.

Objectives: This study aimed to examine associations between consumption of ultraprocessed food (UPF) and C-reactive protein (CRP) levels in a sample of term and preterm infants.
Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 43 preterm infants (<34 wk), chronological age between 9 and 24 mo, were compared with a group of 47 healthy term infants of the same age. Data were collected on dietary intake, anthropometric measures, and serum CRP level (mg/L).

Background: Pain is a disagreeable and distressing feeling that affects human beings in multi-dimensional ways. A number of non-pharmacological interventions have had varying degrees of success in treating cancer-related pain, such as breathing and relaxation techniques, and music therapy, which have been identified as beneficial therapies for alleviating pain and anxiety.
Objective: Identify the therapeutic effects of music interventions in psychological and physiological terms and on the quality of life of children undergoing cancer treatment.

An association between hip pain and quadratus femoris muscle abnormality on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with concurrent narrowing of the ischiofemoral space has been reported in the recent literature. This raises the possibility that the muscle damage observed is due to ischiofemoral impingement. This diagnosis has been noted in middle-aged females either with or without a history of trauma or surgery, is a rarely described feature.

Objective: We developed this study with the aim of evaluating the results from treating patients with proximal femoral fractures, in a series of cases. We sought to observe the influence of the most prevalent complications on the final results after a minimum follow-up of two years. We especially considered the relationship between establishment of avascular necrosis and the time between the accident and the therapeutic intervention.

Objective: To assess the intramedullary nail entry point in the proximal region of the tibia, through a questionnaire.
Methods: 230 participants undergoing treatment for tibial fractures were interviewed. The questionnaire was created with three sections that could be answered in a "Yes" or "No" format and a fourth section that had two figures representing anteroposterior (AP) and lateral view x-rays that could be answered in an "A, "B" or "C" format.
