A 53-year-old male visited his primary physician for epigastric and back pain. Abdominal-enhanced computed tomography (CT) revealed a simple cyst of the pancreatic tail attached to the stomach. A distal main pancreatic duct (MPD) was clearly dilated, but no pancreatic tumor was identified around the stenosis of MPD by CT scan and magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP).

Hemorrhage from ruptured pseudoaneurysm is a rapidly progressing and potentially fatal complication after pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD). Stent graft placement for hepatic artery pseudoaneurysm has recently been reported as a valid alternative to transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE). We report a case of pseudoaneurysm of the common hepatic artery (CHA) with distal arterial stenosis treated by stent graft placement for pseudoaneurysm and balloon dilation for arterial stenosis due to pancreatic fistula after PD.

Objective: Aldosterone plays an important role in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis; however, the significance of mineralocorticoid receptor blockade for atherosclerosis has not been fully elucidated. In this study, the effect of add-on eplerenone on the degree of arterial stiffness was examined in patients with uncontrolled hypertension.
Methods: Forty-seven uncontrolled hypertensive patients who had previously been treated with anti-hypertensive drugs were examined retrospectively.

A case of a well-differentiated papillary mesothelioma of the tunica vaginalis testis in a 70-year-old man, who presented with a 1-month history of scrotal swelling with hydrocele, is described. Fine needle aspiration cytology of the hydrocele demonstrated a papillary cluster of uniform round cells with minimal atypia, reminiscent of mesothelial cells. Macroscopically, the lesion was characterized by a solitary, well-circumscribed papillary soft tumor measuring 1.

A case of low-grade central osteosarcoma of the skull in a 36-year-old male is described. A 10cm mass of the left temporo-occipital bone, which was incidentally found 6 years previously on the occasion of a head trauma, was osteolytic and osteoplastic, affecting soft tissues and the subdural space. The patient was treated with intralesional curettage.

A case of an epithelioid variant of pleomorphic liposarcoma (PL) arising in the back of a 72-year old male is presented. The lesion was a well-circumscribed but unencapsulated, yellowish white mass measuring 11 x 10 x 9 cm in the subcutis and muscle. Histologically, the tumor consisted of three elements; an epithelioid cell element occupying about 50%, a lipogenic and mixed lipogenic and epithelioid cell element occupying 40%, and a malignant fibrous histiocytoma-like element.
