Objective Geriatric screening followed by a more detailed assessment and intervention is recommended for older adults with cancer. However, little is known regarding how the geriatric screening covered by Japanese health insurance is used for hospitalized older cancer patients. We conducted a survey on the present status of support for adolescent and young adult cancer patients in the Japanese Association of Clinical Cancer Centers.
Methods: in December 2018, the primary questionnaires were sent to 32 hospitals of Japanese Association of Clinical Cancer Centers regarding support for adolescent and young adult cancer patients.
