Islet-1 (ISL1) plays key roles in programming the epigenome and facilitating the recruitment of additional regulatory factors. Although it has been used as a marker for pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs), ISL1 reactivity in other tumor types are critically missing. ISL1 immunohistochemistry was performed on 147 neuroendocrine tumors (NET) originated in pancreas, gastrointestinal tract, lung, thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary, adrenal medulla, head/neck, genitourinary tract, and skin; and 110 non-neuroendocrine tumors originated in the pancreas, thymus, lung, thyroid, mesothelium, adrenal cortex, stomach, breast, head/neck, skin, and kidney.

Importance: Dementia is common in Parkinson disease, but few data exist on dementia treatment patterns or the concurrent use of acetylcholinesterase inhibitors (ACHEIs) and anticholinergic medications, a frank prescribing error.
Objectives: To describe dementia treatment patterns, and to determine the extent to which the concurrent use of ACHEIs and drugs with strong anticholinergic activity occurs among individuals with Parkinson disease in the United States.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This cross-sectional analysis included adult Medicare beneficiaries (aged 65 years or older) with Parkinson disease diagnosis with 12 consecutive months of inpatient, outpatient, and prescription drug coverage from January 1, 2014, through December 31, 2014.

Background And Objectives: Hematoma associated with epidural catheterization is rare, but the diagnosis might be suspected relatively frequently. We sought to estimate the incidence of suspected epidural hematoma after epidural catheterization and to determine the associated cost of excluding or diagnosing an epidural hematoma through radiologic imaging.
Methods: We conducted an electronic retrospective chart review of 43,200 patient charts using 4 distinct search strategies and cost analysis, all from a single academic institution from 2001 through 2009.

Objectives: To quantify response rates of Sézary syndrome (SS) to multimodality immunomodulatory therapy and to identify the important prognostic parameters that affect overall response to treatment.
Design: Retrospective cohort study.
Setting: Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma clinic at The Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania.
