Background: The Precancerous Lesion of Gastric Cancer (PLGC) is an early stage in the development of gastric cancer. The clinical application of HPXLD has been found to be effective in treating PLGC, but the mechanism of how HPXLD acts on PLGC is still unclear.
Objective: The objectives of this study were to reveal the molecular mechanism of how HPXLD can be used to treat PLGC and investigate this mechanism through bioinformatics and experimental validation.

Objective: To investigate the value and applicability of F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (F-FDG PET/CT) radiomics in differentiating primary lung cancer (PLC) from solitary lung metastasis (SLM) in patients with colorectal cancer (CRC).
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included 103 patients with CRC and solitary pulmonary nodules (SPNs). The least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) was used to screen for optimal radiomics features and establish a PET/CT radiomics model.

The objective of this study is to assess the influence of blended education methodologies, utilizing an online education platform, among stage III cardiac rehabilitation (CR) patients diagnosed with coronary heart disease (CHD). Between June and August 2021, a cohort of 90 patients diagnosed with CHD, previously discharged from a second-class hospital 1 year earlier, were randomly allocated into 2 groups: the experimental and control groups, with each comprising 45 patients. Patients in the control group received out-of-hospital CR education via WeChat, while those in the experimental group received blended CR education utilizing an online education platform.

Dihydroartemisinin (DHA), an artemisinin derivative, can influence certain malignancies' inflammatory response and growth. This study used Cell Counting Kit-8 and Transwell assays to show that DHA suppressed the growth, migration, and invasion of medullary thyroid cancer cells. Furthermore, the authors used enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, Western blotting, and immunofluorescence to confirm the expression of the transcriptional coactivators Yes-associated protein (YAP)/transcriptional coactivator with a PDZ-binding domain (TAZ) downstream of the Hippo pathway and changes in the expression of the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) process markers E-cadherin and N-cadherin.

The present study aimed to explore the expression and regulatory role of FAM83D in the different developmental stages of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) to determine the effect of FAM83D on the proliferation, migration, and invasion of ESCC cells and to elucidate its underlying molecular mechanism. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) analysis revealed that the expression of FAM83D was obviously elevated in ESCC tissues compared to adjacent normal tissues. Furthermore, the FAM83D levels was positively correlated with tumor size, TNM stage, T stage, and N stage, while it was negatively correlated with FBXW7 expression, Karnofsky Performance Status (KPS) score, and survival rate.

Methods: In this study, 574 ESCC patients were selected as participants. Following radiotherapy, subjects were divided into training and validation groups at a 7:3 ratio.

Background: In recent decades, natural compounds have been considered a significant source of new antitumor medicines due to their unique advantages. Several in vitro and in vivo studies have focused on the effect of terpenoids on apoptosis mediated by mitochondria in malignant cells.
Recent Findings: In this review article, we focused on six extensively studied terpenoids, including sesquiterpenes (dihydroartemisinin and parthenolide), diterpenes (oridonin and triptolide), and triterpenes (betulinic acid and oleanolic acid), and their efficacy in targeting mitochondria to induce cell death.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the risk of adverse events (AEs) in breast cancer patients treated with pembrolizumab combined with paclitaxel those receiving pembrolizumab or paclitaxel monotherapy, using the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) database.
Methods: Data were extracted from the FAERS database for breast cancer patients treated with pembrolizumab combined with paclitaxel or with pembrolizumab or paclitaxel monotherapy from Q1 2016 to Q2 2023. Disproportionation analysis was performed by calculating the reporting odds ratio (ROR) with corresponding 95% confidence interval (95% CI), the information component (IC), and the lower bound of the information component 95% confidence interval (IC025) to identify potential safety signals.

Background: This study aimed to establish a consensus on the delineation of target volumes for neoadjuvant radiation therapy (nRT) in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) within China.
Methods: From February 2020 to June 2021, nine ESCC patients who received nRT were retrospectively selected from Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center and Shandong Cancer Hospital. A panel from eight cancer radiotherapy centers performed two rounds of nRT target volume delineation for these patients: the first round for cases 1-6 and the second for cases 7-9.
