A repeat confirmatory biopsy has become the standard recommendation for these men to increase the precision of this risk attribution. We investigate the usefulness of this approach by comparing the current practice standard, repeat transrectal ultrasound biopsy, with template prostate mapping.

Until recently, awareness of the sexually transmitted infection human papillomavirus-the virus that causes cervical cancer-was relatively low. The purpose of this study was to identify factors associated with human papillomavirus knowledge now that human papillomavirus vaccines have become widely available. Young adult women (n = 739; aged 18-26 years) attending Florida State University who had not yet initiated human papillomavirus vaccination completed a survey between March-August 2009.

Background: Surveillance and identification of umbilical cord abnormalities is a challenging problem in obstetrics. Continuous fetal monitoring during active labor helps identify when danger exists for the fetus.
Case: A nullipara underwent emergent cesarean delivery for fetal distress and was found to have a fetus already separated from the completely torn umbilical cord.
