Purpose: Drug resistance remains a major cause of relapse and therapeutic failure in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The purpose of this investigation is to explore the relationship between caspase-8 level and chemo-sensitivity, as well as its underlying mechanism in NSCLC cells.
Methods: NSCLC cell line, A549 cells was used to investigate the influence of caspase-8 on the biological behavior .

The aim of this paper was to investigate the effect of flavonoids of Sophorae Fructus on the proliferation, migration and invasion of hepatocellular carcinoma cells and analyze the regulatory mechanism of LncRNA FBXL19-AS1/miR-342-3 p pathway. MTT assay and plate cloning assay were used to detect the effect of flavonoids of Sophorae Fructus at different concentrations(1, 5, 10 mg·mL~(-1)) on the proliferation of liver cancer Huh7 cells. The effect of flavonoids of Sophorae Fructus on the migration and invasion of Huh7 cells was examined by Transwell chamber assay.

Purpose: To evaluate the incidence of pain during intracanal medication before and after root canal instrumentation for therapeutic reference.
Methods: Three hundred and twenty four teeth were selected in this study, and the teeth received root canal therapy with crown-down technique using ProTaper rotary system, followed by calcium hydroxide intracanal medication. The degree of reported pain was recorded as 4 levels after treatment according to the Negm criteria.

This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic value of high-frequency ultrasound examination for carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). A total of 63 wrists from 45 patients diagnosed with CTS were selected as the study group, and 43 asymptomatic wrists of 40 cases were included as the normal control group. Parameters such as the transverse diameter, vertical diameter, cross-sectional area (CSA), and flattening rate (FR) of the carpal tunnel radioulnar joint, postular bone, and median nerve in the hamate bone hook plane were measured, and the differences between the two groups were compared.

Objective: To investigate the expression level of IARS2 gene in colon cancer tissues and various cell strains of the cancer; to explore cytologically the effect of IARS2 gene knockdown on proliferation, apoptosis and cell cycle of RKO cells in the cancer.
Methods: Real-time, fluorescence-based quantitative PCR (qPCR) was used to detect the expression of IARS2 gene in human colon cancer and surrounding tissues and in various cell strains of the cancer; the RNA interference target of IARS2 gene was designed and the target was detected by Western blot; the IARS2-siRNA lentiviral vector was established and used to infect the RKO cells of colon cancer; qPCR was employed to determine the effect of gene knockdown; changes of the RKO cells in growth, apoptosis, cell cycle and clone formation were observed after IARS2 gene knockdown.
Results: The expression of IARS2 gene was higher in human colon cancer tissues than in surrounding tissues; there was expression of IARS2 gene in colon cancer cells, and the expression level of IARS2 gene mRNA was higher in the RKO cells than in the SW480, HCT116, DLD1, HT-29 and SW620 cells.
