Methods: COPD patients with respiratory failure who had undergone endotracheal intubation and invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV) between June 2017 and June 2020 at 4 different hospitals in China were included. A total of 296 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups.

Objective: To observe the feasibility of roleplay simulation in improving the quality management of nursing services.

Method: In this retrospective study, 80 nursing staff were enrolled as the study subjects from January 2019 to December 2020. They were divided into a study group (n=40, trained in roleplay simulation) and a control group (n=40, trained in conventional nursing skills) according to different training methods.

Anxiety was assessed using Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), and sleep quality was assessed using Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI).

Mesoporous silica nanoparticle (MSN), sodium hyaluronate (SH), silk fibroin (SS), and oxidized sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (O-CMC) hybrids were used to develop an intelligent drug delivery platform that may be employed for pH and redox-responsive bi-drug administration. The first drug, cytarabine (Cyt), was loaded with amino-functionalized mesoporous silica (MSN-NH) encased by the hydrogel of cystamine (Cys) and SH cross-linked by amide bonds. Hydrophobic doxorubicin (DOX) was co-loaded with Cyt/MSN-NH/SA in the hydrogel of SS and O-CMC in the Cyt- loaded hydrogel.

In this study, we investigated the therapeutic effects of adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADMSCs) in the bleomycin-induced PF model rats and the underlying mechanisms. The PF model rats were generated by intratracheal injections of 5 mg/kg bleomycin sulfate.

Background: To investigate the role of achaete-scute complex-like 2 (ASCL2) in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), we analyze whether ASCL2 suppression could retard cancer development and further observe the relevance between ASCL2 and inflammation via Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) activation in STAD, both in vitro and in vivo.

Methods: Proliferation, development, inflammation, and apoptosis in STAD are observed using sh-ASCL2 lentivirus via TLR4 activation in vitro and in vivo. The relationship between ASCL2 and inflammation is analyzed.

Application of Overlap Gastroduodenostomy in Billroth I Anastomosis after Totally Laparoscopic Distal Gastrectomy for Gastric Cancer.

Delta-shaped gastroduodenostomy (DSGD) and overlap gastroduodenostomy (OGD) are the two most widely used intracorporeal Billroth I anastomosis methods after distal gastrectomy. In this study, we compared the short-term outcomes of DSGD and OGD in total laparoscopic distal gastrectomy (TLDG). In a retrospective cohort study, we examined 92 gastric cancer patients who underwent TLDG performed by the same surgeon between January 2014 and June 2018.

Methods: The prospectively included 60 patients with diabetes who underwent total knee replacement were admitted from August 2021 to April 2022 and were divided into 2 groups according to the (1 : 1) ratio. The control group was mainly given routine nursing care.

Analysis of Mechanism of Action of Cuprous Oxide Nanoparticles in Treatment of Cervical Cancer under Real-time Ultrasound Elastography.

It aimed to explore the adoption value of cuprous oxide nanoparticles (Cu2O NPs) in the clinical treatment of cervical cancer under the evaluation of real-time ultrasound elastography. In this experiment, the solution of Cu2O NPs was synthesized and used in 90 selected mouse models of cervical cancer. It was found that Cu2O NPs can significantly control the reproduction of various types of cervical cancer cells, effectively stopping the cycle of cervical cancer cell lines in the G1/G0 phase.

Comparison of different assays for the detection of anticyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

Objective: To evaluate a novel fully automated immunoturbidimetric assay developed by Qiangsheng Biotechnology Company for the detection of anticyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies (anti-CCP) in serum of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and compare it to the conventional EUROIMMUN- anti-CCP ELISA. Two other commonly used automated assays, the Elecsys anti-CCP assay, an ECLIA that is run on the Modular Analystics E170 (Cobas Diagnostics, Germany), and an anti-CCP CLIA developed by YHLO that is run on the iFlash 3000 Chemiluminescence Immunoassay Analyzer, were included as reference standards.

Methods: A total of 264 serum samples were collected from patients attending the First People's Hospital of Wenling affiliated to Wenzhou Medical University between July 2020 and November 2020.

Clinical Efficacy of Interventional Therapy on Lower Extremity Arteriosclerosis Obliterans and Prognostic Factors.

Objective: This study was designed to analyse the clinical efficacy of interventional therapy on lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans (LEASO) and prognostic factors.

Methods: A total of 122 patients with LEASO diagnosed in our hospital from March 2017 to March 2019 were retrospectively analysed. Among them, 72 patients who received conservative therapy were assigned to a conservative group, and 50 patients who received interventional therapy additionally based on conservative therapy were assigned to an intervention group.
