Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is a recognized central nervous system inflammation complication. Several microRNAs (miRNAs or miRs) have been documented to be vital modulators in peripheral and central nervous system inflammation. Based on whole transcriptome sequencing and bioinformatics analysis, this study aims to reveal the possible molecular mechanisms by which miR-122-5p affects the inflammatory response in the peripheral and central nervous system in a mouse model of ICH.

Objective: To investigate the prognosis and influencing factors of early microsurgery for severe hypertensive brainstem hemorrhage.
Methods: The clinical data of 19 patients with severe hypertensive brainstem hemorrhage treated in the Department of Neurosurgery of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University between January 2018 and December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. The clinical efficacy and risk factors affecting the prognosis were analyzed by chi-square test and multivariate logistic regression.

Neuronal necroptosis and apoptosis are the most important pathways for programmed cell death after brain ischaemic stroke. Although apoptosis signalling pathways have been extensively studied, molecular mechanisms underlying necroptosis remain unclear. In this study, we found that receptor-interacting protein 3 (RIP3) deficiency reduced cerebral infarction volume, neurological deficits, and neuronal ultrastructural damage in a mouse model of brain ischaemic stroke by inhibiting programmed cell death.

Background: Effective prognostic assessment and appropriate drug selection are important for the clinical management of pancreatic cancer (PaC). Here, we aimed to establish a pyroptosis-associated genes (PRGs) signature to predict the prognostic outcomes of PaC and guide clinical drug therapy.
Methods: We identified the differentially expressed PRGs between pancreatic adenocarcinoma (n = 178) and control pancreas samples (n = 171) obtained from different databases, and performed Lasso and Cox regression analysis to create a prognosis signature.

Purpose: We aimed to compare the histological and/or cytological diagnostic outcomes of EUS-FNA using 19G and 22G needles for solid pancreatic lesions and to evaluate the feasibility and safety of 19G needle.
Patients And Methods: Data from patients with solid pancreatic lesions, who underwent EUS-FNA, were retrospectively retrieved from a single tertiary center from June 2017 to January 2021. The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of diagnosis, sample adequacy, number and time of punctures, and adverse events, were compared between the 19G and 22G groups.

The stem cell origin theory of endometriosis (EMS) is a significant area of new research but the sources of this have yet to be adequately summarized. Existing treatments for EMS are commonly associated with a high recurrence rate; consequently, there is an urgent need to develop new therapeutic measures for the future treatment of this disease from the view of stem cells and gene therapy. Recently, we described the evidence for the potential sources of EMS stem cells and other key molecules participating in the establishment of lesions, and predict the miRNAs that target these key genes via bioinformatics analysis for further research.

Objective: To investigate the relationship between the polymorphism of miR-155 and its target gene MyD88 and clinicopathological features of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).
Methods: 135 cases of DLBCL patients in our hospital from March 2015 to August 2017 were selected, and 90 cases of reactive hyperplasia of lymph nodes were selected as the control group. The relative expression of miR-155 and MyD88 gene polymorphism were detected in the two groups, and the relationship between miR-155 and MyD88 gene polymorphism and clinicopathological characteristics of DLBCL was analyzed.

Methods: The expression of Circ_cgga162 in 86 cases of mantle cell lymphoma and 50 cases of lymph node reactive hyperplasia (RH) were detected by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). The relationship between the expression of Circ_cgga162 and clinicopathological features was analyzed by univariate analysis.

Measuring the cell proliferation of difference groups by MTS assay; evaluating cell apoptosis of difference by flow cytometry; the cell invasion and migration abilities of difference HepG2 cells were measured by transwell and wound healing testing; measuring the relative proteins expression in difference groups.

Methdos: 210 cases of hypertension patients in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2015 were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, 105 cases in each group. According to the conventional symptomatic treatment, the experimental group was given lisinopril treatment, while control group was given the captopril treatment.

The present study evaluated the ability and optimal concentration of tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) to induce human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hUMSCs) to differentiate into neuron‑like cells in vitro. Human umbilical cords from full-term caesarean section patients were used to obtain hUMSCs by collagenase digestion after removal of the umbilical artery and vein.
